Using AP at low alt is a moot point as you’d never use it at 300-400 feet.

Every plane in DCS seems to be easy to AAR

We set it at 15 knots and it still happens. Makes it impossible to taxi on deck.

You aren’t going to hit anything at rmax. It’s a wasted shot.

I find refueling ridiculously easy. You should at least be able to match speed and fly formation

It's never that sensitive in the real jet, any jet just based on the fact that there is so much more throw in the stick. I'd tell anyone as a rule of thumb to always use a curve in all three axis. Personally, I'm using 25 on the stick and 30 on the rudders for the Hornet.

Don't use TDC, use thottle designator control horizontal and vertical, that's the actual control in the aircraft. I'm not sure why they have TDC in there.

You guys didn't know about the carrier module? It's coming, when I don't know, but it is happening. Personally, I can't wait but everything that everyone is asking for on the Stennis will be on that module I'd assume. From what I'm told you'll be able to walk around the hanger deck, the bridge, air boss deck, LSO and a crapton of other stuff like using the elevators and it'll be much more detailed. Someone that is more informed is welcome to chime in and correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.

The problem with trying to reference a video you found is that you have no idea what exact model f18 you’re looking at and what specific avionics it has. This is especially true since avionics can be upgraded irl.

No and there’s a list of ordinance that we will be getting. The hornet isn’t certified for the cbu 97 iirc.

Just because the F18 doesn't take off vertically doesn't mean those of us that want to use it as a Harrier shouldn't be able to. We should just be able to turn vertical take off, on or off. Just kidding...I doubt this is something huge on the list. It's like asking for a rumble seat.

At this point you need to read the manual and watch videos.
