Ok... Come now... No dev response to any thread about this after all this time? Cobra or someone at LNS, can you please at least acknowledge one of the several threads about this and let us know if it will ever be done???!!! I love LNS and there products, and look forward to the Viggen, but the handeling of this has been a bit off, no? Acknowledgement would be nice at least

I guess because LNS just hasn't felt like doing the reveal yet for whatever reason. I hope that will change soon, I feel like LNS is missing out on valuable community input by waiting so late in the game to announce. Notice on other modules like the Mirage where the community has spotted issues that helped the devs to make adjustments, there is a lot of knowledge in this community. I understood the hold back when it was still going to be a big surprise, but in the end I still would have preferred an F-14 style announcement in hind sight. The ED acknowledgement definitely caught me off guard, I really thought LNS would have announced before ED made a statement like that, but at least it is something official. I was surprised there was no word of the F-4U in the email though, perhaps it has fallen behind the Viggen due to carrier ops and a theatre coming with it?

Exactly. The F-14 requires a substantial amount of work above the Viggen I suspect, and I'm glad to get the Viggen first anyway, will give me yet another great LNS product to dive in to and enjoy Although why the Viggen announcement still hasn't been made is a total mystery to me.

Woulda worked a bit better if you remember the poll creation part :lol: The Super Tucano would be far more useful in DCS, I hope they go for that

Oh lord, I can see the AIM-54 being the next AIM 120C when it turns out that it isn't a 100% PK every shot in the sim, and then there will be a massive gripe that it is "broken" and "unrealistic" Nevermind the fact that both AIM 54s fired in anger by US forced missed, IIRC. This exactly. Not even the greatest BVR missile in the sim can hit a pilot who is taking appropriate evasive measures. Hell you can defeat an AIM 120 in a MiG 15 if you know it's coming. The Flanker RWR is far from worthless, you just have to use it correctly. No, it is not as fancy as the Western RWR, but it gets the job done. It wasn't designed to outline specific threats but it wouldn't make a difference in how I approached BVR anyway. Since the Phoenix was originally designed to shoot down large slow non maneuvering targets, a fighter should be able to consistently defeat it unless they don't know it's coming. It's a bummer... An upgraded F-14 would school a Hornet, IMHO

I fixed this by copying the Users/Config/M2000 folder from 1.5 latest build over the 2.0 version.

This is very odd to say the least... I had the four TDC slew directions bound to my DMS switch on my Warthog HOTAS. Everything has been working fine since initial release, however post this latest patch, after switching my radar mode from the default PPI to B-Scope mode, my binding broke... TDC down no longer works, and the binding is showing RED as in a conflict with the K key, which is also Knee-board. The issue is I already rebound the kneeboard to another key, and nothing I do makes the binding no longer show up red or work again. The three remaining directions still work. I have another friend who has the same issue. Anyone know what is going on and or how to fix this mess?

Oh god, not the 530s or 550s!!!! :lol: I'll by strapping side winders. I have to agree. My faith in this dev has been shaken to the core with the C-101. It's finish is still no where in sight based on what we know... It is proper for Aviodev to be investing time in a new module when we know nothing about when the C-101 will be done except "Soon"? I can't answer this, and I would love a Mirage F1, but the C-101 needs to be finished first.

My understanding is it was used to identify tail markings on aircraft during intercept, meaning the M2000 would pull up behind and right of the intercepted aircraft, and put the police light on the tail.

The Gazelle fits nicely between the UH 1 and KA 50 in attack capability. Better than the Huey, but not quite the beast that the Akula is when it comes to tank hunting. I can't wait to fly coop op with KA 50s and Gazelles

Without testing on my own, I cannot say off the bat that this is inaccurate, as a bank causes a loss of vertical lift in most aircraft designs. To my knowledge even FBW wouldn't totally compensate for that, but I'll look into this more Does your VVI and Altimeter back the FPM up? In the bottom photo the VVI looks positive but I don't know if that was changing. I'm assuming your cocern is based in a descrepency between the FPM and those instruments.

Sigh.... Not working in 1.5 and 2.0? I testing it in 2.0 extensively after it was supposedly working to no avail. I was really hoping we would at least get it in 1.5...
