On the way back from my last deployment, we stopped in Croatia and I spoke at length with a MiG 21 crew chief in Croatia, he told me that twin pylons could be mounted on any store. Since this was right when the MiG 21 was in the near future I was very interested in its capabilities so I bombarded him with questions. I've seen people state otherwise on the forum but I feel like he would know. People who talk about this or that being unrealistic need to realize the extent which each of these aircraft could be and were modified. Also 8 R-60s weight little more than four and two R-3Rs IIRC (thinking a 100 lbs or so, I'll have to load the sim to check later) so that is a mute point. I use the load out occasionally to good success (if I know I'll be in knife fights with wingmen) but I usually go with six missiles. Either way, the MiG will have more teeth than the F-5 and it could be trouble for the Tiger unless it can carry more sidewinders than I suspect. I still certainly look forward to fighting in both aircraft against both aircraft

Much of that sounds as if it would be very difficult to accurately simulate without massive rage from the community. Probably safer to treat all players as if they had the same pilot if they start getting into a more realistic simulation. I think 20-30 seconds at 9gs sounds a reasonable limit. In the current form it sounds like a DCS pilot will be able to use the Mirages STT to much greater effect than it could be done in real life.

All very interesting stuff, G suits are something I don't know much about so good to learn. All this being said, how long could a mirage pilot actually hang with the 9g sustained turn the plane boasts? From the above 9 Gs sounds like it would get serious even with a G suit

Awesome video, we need that nasty looking black smoke trail in the sim once we get the weapons for the AJS 37 I'm quickly finding myself looking forward to this aircraft more than any other release since the MiG 21. Cannot wait to get my hands on it! That was the last year of active Viggen service, correct? I'm assuming you still see some at authors these days?

It seems right now that even though the IL 78 has three booms, only two extend, I would love to be able to do three of Razbam adds a so equipped tanker

I'm assuming the M2000 pilots have a G suit comparable to the western technology. I am not too up on G suits but IIRC they can keep the pilots lights on up to about 10-12Gs, correct? Good work on the turn rate testing in the other thread BTW, I am sure that contributed to fixing it, and as much as I like fighting M2000 vs Mig 21 from both sides, the Mirage needs its real life turn rate (even if it messes up the match up... As it is now it is already a mistake to turn with a mirage based on low speed handling alone)

Cool! Seems like any options like this get stuck in the special menu for the aircraft, though, I would love to see ED refine the aircraft load out panel to add some more options on the fly. Backing out to the menu gets old I'm afraid.

Tried this today. It was a PITA at first but once I got the hang of managing the throttle it came together. Hope this gets fixed in the upcoming patch!

This is freaking amazing news. I cannot wait for this feature. Is there any possibility of pilot night vision in the M2000C? That would allow the pilot to have a chance at confirming the lased target I should think (during night ops anyway) I'll see if I can get confirmation on the A-10C JTAC test at NTTR in the next day or so.

I guess things will get more interesting on the M-2000C Vs MiG 21 server post this upcoming patch, I see STT rate has been tweaked on the internal build

So you are saying my "behaviour" has led you to believe I would cheat? Because I didn't agree with you on some aspects about ARMAT implementation and don't suffer passive aggressive remarks from other users? Sigh... Seems petty to assume bad about me because I disagree about a stupid missile in a PC game. I don't assume negative things about anyone here, even the guys who get my ire with their posting style. As far as what you said about missile implementation that is what I have wanted from the start. I think if at least a decent guesstimation could be made put it in, if not then leave it out, even if it is a bummer. What I don't care about is if it was ever used on the aircraft, because unlike the current DCS world situation, the French never needed to press it into SEAD service. It sounds like RAZBAM still is considering putting it in anyway based on that exact criteria a few pages back, and if they can come up with something I would hope it would satisfy all crowds. I enjoy the realistic aspect of the simulation but I think there is room for addition here or there if it can be done in a realistic manner.

Make what clear? As if I didn't know. And those who are breaking the rules are getting banned for it, on the 104th at least. People could always easily cheat on DCS if such a crowd was commonplace, it isn't the modders fault. On other servers, if it isn't against the rules, who cares? It's their choice.
