Any luck? I too am able to hit the Mach 2.2 in the mirage with no issue. Did you check your throttle axis in Windows Game Controllers? I had one go bad one time by limiting the axis. After some reading around and testing I find your first posts screen shots of the low altitude airspeeds to be pretty spot on, as surpringly the MiG 21bis is reported to be significantly faster than the M2000C at sea level, but that flips at altitude. I think the MPH for both is sea level is 800ish for the mig and 690 for the M2000.

After testing a bit I think this ties into the newer drag model, engine, or both. Even though the mig should probably be able to put accelerate the M2000 with EAB, it should not be able to without it, and the M2000 is supposed to be a bit faster, so I imagine Razbam needs to tweak th drag back a bit

The other option could be that RAZBAM still has it wrong, I suspect it was "nerfed" a bit too much as the MiG FM seems quite close to the published data.

Need more data on your configuration. In certain setting the MiG may eclipse the speed of the M2000, especially in EAB and at SL

l am pretty excited for the release of the ZA, but I have been trying to determine some of the differences between the ZA and C. First of all, am I correct in assuming the loud out current available to the AI only L-39ZA is what will be available to the playable version? I did note no gun pod appears on the AI version armament panel. Also was wondering if there were any other general upgrades, I thought I heard the engine was upgraded. I tried searching about some but Wikipedia was about the largest read I could find on the ZA. Per the screen shots it appears we are getting a better armament panel

This. The faster, the more dramatic the effect of the airfbrake. This may be part of the effect you are experiencing

KA 50 is more deadly for sure! The fun from the gazelle will stem from the unique weapon it uses and its unique handling characteristics

On the way back from my last deployment, we stopped in Croatia and I spoke at length with a MiG 21 crew chief in Croatia, he told me that twin pylons could be mounted on any store. Since this was right when the MiG 21 was in the near future I was very interested in its capabilities so I bombarded him with questions. I've seen people state otherwise on the forum but I feel like he would know. People who talk about this or that being unrealistic need to realize the extent which each of these aircraft could be and were modified. Also 8 R-60s weight little more than four and two R-3Rs IIRC (thinking a 100 lbs or so, I'll have to load the sim to check later) so that is a mute point. I use the load out occasionally to good success (if I know I'll be in knife fights with wingmen) but I usually go with six missiles. Either way, the MiG will have more teeth than the F-5 and it could be trouble for the Tiger unless it can carry more sidewinders than I suspect. I still certainly look forward to fighting in both aircraft against both aircraft

The way I see it, the longer it is, the more gets fixed on the M2000 (hopefully)

Much of that sounds as if it would be very difficult to accurately simulate without massive rage from the community. Probably safer to treat all players as if they had the same pilot if they start getting into a more realistic simulation. I think 20-30 seconds at 9gs sounds a reasonable limit. In the current form it sounds like a DCS pilot will be able to use the Mirages STT to much greater effect than it could be done in real life.
