    Jet Thunder

^I guess they really wanted to model the Vulcan raids.
  2. IIRC it's a test pilot doing a demonstration, sort of spontaneous airshow at a Mi-8 delivery event or contract negotiations, don't remember. Has been posted before but there's nothing wrong with vid reposts :).
  3. All the best and hope he'll be well again.
  4. As long as this forum exists, you can assume it's OK.
  5. Do you mean... LN team composition= ?

    He is comming?

French AF uses KC-135, so you're good to go once this module is released. (Although the Alphajet features in the film as well.)
  7. Yes :)

  9. Well, they're subsonic, no radar, RWR, countermeasures, jammer, advanced store management system or SMS/weapons sorting panel. I think that's a significant part of a to-do list.
  10. Some nice Mirage footage here
  11. How do you know? If ED finishes their carrier + landing programming before the 2000 is finished, the T-2 might be next.
  12. Nice plane, but not really a US plane.
  13. In RoF, there is almost always a high contrast between planes and the ground. At distance the ground gets a light gray haze effect, while planes stay almost completely black. Btw Cliffs of Dover with TF mods compensate by having lots of cockpit glinting. Planes in the distance also stay completely black, while DCS planes shade to gray, so to speak.
  14. The F-16 planform is a tailed delta wing. I agree not to expect a wunder-dogfighter, but with FBW fighters, it's not so easy to draw conclusions just from the planform. Some US 6gen concepts are tailless, stab-less diamond wings. An educated guess without knowing classified key data or its internal construction?
  15. No need for any limbs!!
  16. Most probably a separate module.
  17. All three are fairly easy to use and imho their performance in-game is very similar. I have freetrack and opentrack installed with similar curve settings, and I don't notice much difference. Freetrack hasn't been updated since 2008, but still works well for many users. It sometimes crashes on startup for me so I don't use it often. FacetrackNoir was last updated a year ago, but the team is still working on it. Opentrack gets updated very frequently by Stan Halik and is very easy to install and try.
  18. Sites like guru3d.com and hexus.net will do independent (as much as we can hope) benchmarking when able to.
  19. March 31, 23:50, Hawaii time :)
  20. These are powerpoint slides from AMD presentations.
  21. A lot of people are involved with this project, in Metal2Mesh and Razbam.
  22. I wasn't guessing because I remember reading it on these forums. :) But my memory may be corrupted (it happens), or it might be an old thread with obsolete info. I was hoping someone else here had read that thread, because I wasn't able to find it yesterday with forum search or google. Sometimes my hard drive has errors... but I don't want do a reformat :).
  23. This may be completely wrong, but I recall reading a thread here saying 3rd parties would have to buy their own starforce license, which costs thousands of USD?
  24. Ark Royal (the Audacious one) post 1970?
