  1. If it was me, I would put the new HDD in first, then do the upgrade on the old Win 7, get Win 10 activated, then do the clean install on the new hdd.
  2. Thanks Skatezilla!!
  3. Wondering if anyone else has seen this? While sitting at the menu after opening DCS World my SLI'd 970's go to 99% and 94%, while just sitting there. Temps climb as expected into the low 70's which is normal for my rig while gaming. Did driver clean and re-install but no change. I would expect this while flying around but not at the opening screen?
  4. Enjoy! It's incredibly awesome! And don't forget, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2407757#post2407757
  5. Last I had heard, it's best to do the upgrade first, which will validate your Win 7 and activate the new windows 10. Then you can go back and do a clean install. Since you activate Win 10, it will have no issues activating again.I would install your new HD before doing the upgrade so it doesn't see a hardware change though. 6. If you don't want to download everything again, don't blame you, just install the DCS World openbeta with no modules. Then copy your regular DCS World folder files over to it. Then follow the guide here, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030, to covert that install to the openbeta. It's the the last section of the first post in that thread. You can also just convert your current install over to the openbeta if space is a concern.
  7. It's under the pedal cover. here's the left one. http://www.mycockpit.org/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6268&title=mods-to-saitek-rudder-pedals&cat=535 Edit: Oh yea, to remove the pedal cover you push the little silver "Push" button and slide the top pedal rest up, when you get to the bottom hole, push it in again and the top rest will slide up and off the mount. Then you'll see the screws to remove the cover.
  8. Yep, that how it works. Some of the repetition for startup and shutdown,(especially in my case for some reason ), may get frustrating but you'll have a sense of accomplishment when you get it down.
  9. The first post in this thread is what you are looking for. Their site is http://www3.sympatico.ca/tlaschuk/mapleflagmissions for purchasing the missions. This should keep you busy for a while, everything is well built and SP based. :joystick:
  10. Seems to be a Saitek driver problem with Windows 10, some seem to have had luck with specific versions of the software and drivers on the X-52 pro, so maybe that will help. Check post #52 in the thread below. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143906&highlight=X52+windows+10&page=6
  11. Hahahaha, WTH.... Check again...
  12. Check this thread and especially post #27 here, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=115816&page=3 It's the power management on Windows 10, mine started doing the same thing after upgrade.
  13. Nope! You can use the serial numbers from Steam to activate them in the standalone, just can't use the standalone's from ED on Steam without dome manipulation on your local PC.
  14. I don't use one for DCS but do for other sims, and have had no issues with it under Win 10.
  15. If you are using the Nvidia spanning option, try setting it to 1 screen not 3. I run SLI 970's and 5910x1080 (bezel corrected) with no issues.
  16. Check out the thread below, the solution is in post #27. You need to turn off the enhanced power management in the registry and it should fix you up. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=115816
  17. I'm same as Deezle, running 3 screens and sit around the 3.2 - 3.5 mark.
  18. It's recommended that you do deactivate, just in case you are close to going over the points limit. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=145683&highlight=windows+10 I didn't but the only one that required reactivation was the Mig-21.
  19. Blame Madcatz/Saitek. Last driver release was when?? They are working on it from what I hear/read.
  20. You're welcome, glad that sorted it out.
  21. In the Mission Editor, click on the little clipboard below the yellow MIS on the upper left, it's the create mission briefing button. There's where you set the actual mission start time. Then adjust your flights after that.
  22. I donated to FTNoIR so they send you a link to the latest non-release version. I had gotten the CL Eye driver from https://codelaboratories.com/downloads/ back when it was free, since then they started charging 2.99 for it. :( Edit: Hope that helps with the new driver, that used to be a free download but can't blame them for getting something from it.
  23. Not seen any problems with it, only thing checked under compatibility is to run as administrator. Also have the audio portion disabled under Sound, video and game controllers in device manager. Using CL-Eye driver 5.3.0.341 and FTNoIR 1.8 Alpha 1.
  24. Yea my Mig-21 required another activation and the Hawk missions say it's not installed but the modules manager says it is and the directories for it are there are there. Otherwise it's been working great.
  25. Tracks are known for being not accurate at times. Like Darkfire said, make sure you use no time acceleration when replaying them and they are the same version.
