  1. Open the mission in the mission editor, the weather setting is the 4th or 5th icon down the left side. Looks like a cloud with a sun peeking out. There are three settings on the right for the wind.
  2. You can try HWinfo and see if it will read the motherboard voltages, when I had issues with high load causing crashes I used it and could see the 12v was dipping way too low during high loads. New PSU fixed it right up. http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php You can set it up to log to a csv file, that way if the pc does crash, you have the last info in the csv files before the crash.
  3. Yep, like when the sun goes down every evening?:lol:
  4. Did you get and install the Gimp .dds plugin? Think it's this one https://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/
  5. Don't recall seeing an actual date, but seems like most moudules have been released to Steam within a month of the standalone release.
  6. Lol, awesome, he predicted this over a month ago. Amazing. :music_whistling: :pilotfly:
  7. Aginor seems to have the right answer, it was failing at a hetzner.de router. Was down for hours here.
  8. Thanks Shahdoh, was looking forward to watching it. VH-Rock, sorry about the issues, what I watched was great and look forward to the future show.
  9. Yep, well, the manufacturer offered a step up outside of the normal window to a stock 980, but it would still be another $400 going into the 2 cards or $200 and a card not being used. Which I suppose I could sell and re-coupe the 2 bills. But that would be giving more money to Nvidia. Right now, I'm just going to wait and see what comes out from Nvidia, don't expect anything though, and if it turns out that way. It'll be a trip back to the Caribbean Islands for me!
  10. No problem!
  11. How true. This is the first Nvidia card I can remember buying, and I pick the one with RamGate right off the bat....
  12. Looks like the Nvidia SLI indicator IIRC. Open the Nvidia Control Panel and check under 3D settings (the one in the menu bar at the top). Show SLI Visual Indicator and PhysX Visual Indicator should not be checked.
  13. Yea, I can see how the extension would magnify it. Thinking about getting one just to see the difference.
  14. If there's any there, it's imperceptible, not even a mm twist to be honest. Mine is fairly new, a little over 2 months old. There is also almost none in x/y either, maybe 1 mm but nothing that makes it feel loose or sloppy.
  15. I'll agree with 98abaile, mine has no wobble and no twisting at all.
  16. Forgot all about this thread... Serial - 29987 Location - Ohio, USA
  17. Your pic is the typical 970, looks just like my 2. More of the issue is that there are not 64 ROPS on a 970, only 56. The cache reports as 2Mb., but in reality is only 1.75. So the specs are not what Nvidia stated they would be for the card.
  18. That's the port that DCS uses, so it stays the same.
  19. Looks nice!
  20. The port should be 10308, and the IP is the one on the PC hosting the game. So: Description = DCS World Inbound Port = 10308 to 10308 Format = Both Private IP address = your computers IP, usually 192.168.1.x or similar. Open a windows command prompt and type ipconfig, check the address on your adapter. Local port = 10308 to 10308 Hopefully that will get you set up.
  21. "RSHFT-L" should turn on the power, and the radar on/off should be "I". If not you can check the bindings in your options to see what they are for Electric Power Switch and Radar On/Off.
  22. Yep, haven't had any issues with mine, but have followed the thread on EVGA and it seems to be a legit problem for some.
  23. You can also do the same thing in the C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS. Create a Kneeboard folder, and then subfolders as Tempest said. Either way works, but I like to keep all the custom stuff in saved games and it won't get reset/overwritten during repair/upgrade. Anything you place in C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard will show up on all the kneeboards.
  24. Have you tried deleting C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C\modifiers.lua and then re-creating the modifier in the Options? The controller ID is stored in that modifiers file and if it's changed for whatever reason, the sim won't see it pressed.
  25. Trying to remember how I did this and can't find the mission it's in. Think I created another waypoint after the orbit waypoint. Then, on the new waypoint added the bombing task in advanced waypoint actions. That way after the orbit released they flew to the next waypoint, then executed the bombing task.
