HOW TO ADJUST MOUSE WHEEL FOR RADIO FREQUENCEY CHANGE
Abburo replied to Badger633's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
There are some mouses which have a very interesting feature. The scroll wheel have two mechanical positions: 1. The scroll wheel is working normal and you are sensing small bumps during rotation. 2. The "free mode" is a mechanical switch on the mouse which nulify those bumps and let the wheel to rotate freely. This is usually combined with a more heavy scrolling wheel to obtain a kind of inertia so that with a small impulse from your finger it will rotate enough time to simulate a continous travel from start to end for the buttons in the cockpit. The mouse type I had with this kind of functionality was Logitech G700. For sure there should be newer models which have this functionality too. I am pretty sure that is the best option for your OP request. Or you can try a Logitech T650, a touchpad quite versatile... but here are some drawbacks regarding precision -
New TiR drivers fixing Nvidia powerstate bug
Abburo replied to MA_Goblin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Update: my TIR 4 resumed working after playing it around on multiple computers. Only thing remaining is that they are not working on USB 3.0. .. well I can live with this. I am glad I am an isolated case, but having 2 machines with same behavior is a bit more than strange. -
New TiR drivers fixing Nvidia powerstate bug
Abburo replied to MA_Goblin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The problem appears only if is connected to USB 3.0. I have two computers and both had issues. While TIR5 resumed working when I plugged it into USB 2.0, the TIR 4 simply cannot activate (both modes tried with and without pro clip). -
New TiR drivers fixing Nvidia powerstate bug
Abburo replied to MA_Goblin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Ok, no more need of confirmation... NEW BUG CONFIRMED. My TIR 4 device is now destroyed while TIR 5 is not working anymore on USB 3.0. I have raised an ticket to NAtural point and I am extremly pissed off by such bug which lead to physical malfunction to my TIR 4 device . For your information: TIR 4 is not working anymore even on USB2.0, nor with software downgraded to the working version 5.3. Admin: I think that is worth to have this announcement as sticky... hopefully other users will avoid this issue -
New TiR drivers fixing Nvidia powerstate bug
Abburo replied to MA_Goblin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Something strange happens to me after this update. My TIR 5 was connected to my monitor USB tupe 3.0 hub and ceased to work on this type of port after update. It is working however on a normal USB 2.0 port. Monitor usb hub is fine because I have test it with other devices. Anybody else experiencing strange behaviours on USB 3.0 ports? -

New TiR drivers fixing Nvidia powerstate bug

Finally .. another stupidity is fixed: "Joystick/controller hotkeys now correctly differentiate between devices, rather than treating e.g. "Button0" on every device as identical." -
Me not like it ! :)

Here are my positive thoughts to Aviodev. I bought this module too in order to support the team. And this is not worrying me at all. When will be ready with EFM i will take it to a spin. Until then there are a lot to use and learn in DCS. And I am sure that sometime will be ready !!!

I've tried DK2 and in my case it it was unbearable to ware more than 2 minutes when doing FirstPersonShooter style. I could however hold a little longer in DCS. I am one of those that could simply not able to use this technology... this might be the reason to wait for it to be improved. Meanwhile I am feeling very confortable in the classic way of gaming.

OR is here. Price, even twice as was estimated is still in a acceptable level considering the pioneering ideea it presents. But, resolution 2160x1200 (1080x1200 x 2)might be ok for a race sim or an arcade game and not for sim games... for DCS will be nice to fly arround maybe, but not for real CAS missions where you need some eagle eye on field. A begining in VR, I will however wait for something like MS Hololens. Until then 4k will be the key :)

Looking for a new card.. AMD vs Nvidia
Abburo replied to Farlander's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
If I would have to buy now a video card I will go with AMD because: -AMD Fury have a huge bandwidth (4096 bits) which will help drastically on DX11 and especially DX12 -3xx series which have anyway bigger bandwidth than Nvidia and a lot of RAM These days, if you are going to higher than FullHD resolution you will need for sure more than 4Gb video ram. In my case I have to go with my current setup until next gen of GPUs will show up. I barely wait to exchange SLI setup with single card, I will just be sure will be the most powerfull at that moment. -
Not very straight forward installation indeed, however it is very reliable when you know how to do it. Please follow the link here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 For your case you would need something like this: CD PROGRAM FILES\EAGLE DYNAMICS\DCS WORLD\BIN\DCS_Updater.exe install <module> (ie DCS_Updater.exe install F-86F ) In the link you will find a full table with all data, exact names of modules, versions codes you would ever need to install.

MFG Crosswind - Review
Abburo replied to Flamin_Squirrel's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
This device has such many adjustments options so that your query is almost impossible to not be met. Also, did you ever thought that the precision of these pedals could make obsolete your heel-on-floor desire? -
Save your money then. Wait some more time to add some more extra amount. Otherwise is like your just trashing your current savings. At lest this is my point of view! Until then you can start reading the manuals for aircrafts.

APUs are not meant for gaming but more for multimedia. Keep this in mind when you choose.

Talking to phone should normally end in 1-2 minutes, unless of course womans :). Any wireless devices are not healthy and there will be not found ever official reports stating these... because they need to sell. More G's more damages. We are already living in a microwave ove.
