I just tested a DK2. My feedback is: I will never buy such device. I will never use such device even if it will be for free. The sickness that produced to me was too much more painfull I ever thought.

Saitek are somehow well known about power draining excedent needed. If this is first time you are hearing then you just need to take it in consideration. Other two more options but also related to power drain are: - USB contacts not perfect - low quality motherboard capacitors on the usb controller or even totally missing for power filtering for it. Solution proposed above is the best one. I have a wired madcatz mouse which made my system crash until i have changed the extender usb cable with a golden plated one

On the config file : ~\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Input\Mi-8MTV2\joystick\default.lua You have to play with value for swapAxes (true or false)

This problem for piper moving eratically after ground stabilization still persists. I thought that the mini-joystick I am using for slewing is malfunctioning but is not. I really hope that this issue be evaluated, SU25 is the best situational awarness trainer .

If they want to stay on market, and I want them to stay on market, they need to migrate to the shity freeware OS concept brung on the table by Google and Co. (don't pay OS but pay any click on it :evil:). Windows will soon be as free as Android but they cannot go directly due to their inheritance. Also good to mention they will also decommission IE as well starting with WinX and they will replace it with a new browser. This is simple stupid just to get rid of the name IE which creates in the past problems. Versions 6 and 7 were problematics for real, however latest versions of IE works for me just great. And this is due to the famous way of saying "people are awesome" :D "Internet Explorer" is a brand by itself and does not need any other adjective to say what it is. Good things, bad things, no matter what, IE itself evolved as well as its supportive operating system. And again american marketing mathematics wins... excuse me.. this time is a powerfull indian influence on it :)))))

That is mainly because you might did not the correct JGSM snapshot before installing mods. However, easiest way to fix this is to find other terrain mods and install. You can choose between Barthek, PeterP, or others.

Even not present on the forum my kid will have 10 years this summer and he is a great companion for me. We are no mastering ASM planes but have a lot of fun with SU25/A10A/SU27 and CA. As for me, just turned to 40.

I am using absolutely no curves for joystick, all defaults (no saturation/no deadzones). Just for pedals i am having arround 20 curvature, depending more or less by the plane. For Heli ... no curvatures on anything. I also extended with 10 cm my joystick.

Yours complains are mostly true. I own both MSFFB2 and G940 and I am enjoying both of them. How could I? Well, with G940 firmware update along with boards from leo bodnar to compensate "reversal bug" and in the same time an extended set of buttons I obtained a very smooth Hotas. I also want to add that DCS effects on G940 seems to me a bit better that the ones on MSFFB2. EDIT: Also, get rid of Logitech software. Configure G940 only via DCS configuration options. MSFFB2 on the other hand, is an exceptional piece of work, maybe best piece of its kind ever made. I have one functional since 2003... and still working perfect. It is perfect for small hands/children. BTW: keep an eye on these guys too: http://flightsimcontrols.com/. They might release somtime a FF joystick too.

I just want to express ma gratitude for this new iconic war machine. Even I am a fan of "soviet" techs, I cannot ignore "F"s power :). Regarding 2 seats feature i have a sort of idea/proposal: There will be cases where the 2 pilots will be connected via LAN (as is my case with my son). Would be great to address this special connectivity in a master/slave configuration within the local network while the main connection to the server will be only via master machine, minimizing in this way both players delay as well as minimizing server network load. This type of approach can help in socializing too, making people to revive old PC party :D

c Check post 14. Changes must be done on trackir software. TrackIR default profile cannot be changed. For this reason I have created Ctrl+Alt+F1...F4 to switch between profiles, along with similar combinations for higher F's.
