I should add, I was a tad disappointed that I couldn't use my Warthog stick base plate, it's much heavier than this light WarBRD one, and when you using heavy springs it's not a good combination.
Is there any way to increase the center tension - not much but some ?
I have the Warthog stick with WarBRD base, I have the heavier springs and CAMs in. However, I find the center to be very 'touchy', just pressing a button causes the stick to change.
I'd like to put some more tension in the center if possible ?
Hoping for a Wags video soon to show the TWS and Datalink in action for the F-16.
I assume at some point we will get auto-IFF and not need to pound the scan button all the time ? :)
With PD of anything over 1.0 you really don't need to have MSAA 2X on. Doesn't do much good except lower the frames.
ie. my 2 paths are PD 1.0 and MSAA 2x . or 1.3+ with MSAA off
compare your frames.
Reverb, 1080ti, i7 9700k oc'd to 5
Curious, I have the light and heavy springs as well as the different notched CAMS.
What are the effects of the different combos - obviously springs provide more tension, but how does the CAMS works with the notches ?
light spring w/1 notch vs. 2 notch
heavy spring w/1 notch vs 2 notch
I have the device selected in the list (I had to view usb devices).
I clicked firmware and start auto firmware update.
It's been sitting at 1/5 for quite awhile.
After running firmware will the buttons work ? Right now only the stick movements are detected no buttons ?
I'm using existing TH stick with the WarBrd base
Well still some ghosting. Esp on ground. Not ideal but not much can do.
I honestly think this is going to happen until we get 3080 series cards.
Can't wait
So I had bad ghosting - I was running PD 1.0, SS 100%
No shadows, 2x msaa
I tried motionvector, auto.
No joy.
Tonight I moved PD to 1.5, turned off msaa, commented out the auto, etc...
No ghosting, looks great
Interesting. So I get the same issue as the OP. Where I see double if I look right or left very quickly.
I'm running PD 1.0 and SS around 100% - beta.
I could try 74%.
So maybe I'm just used to my Reverb, but can you give an example of the Mura and what negative effect you see ?
I tried the Rift S as well and had the same result. Interesting comment on the Index, I've had people rave how great it is, but I can't see being a lower resolution that it would come close to Reverb
