  1. Yes i have. During level flight, climb and descent, all show the same because there is no fuel. I did some calculating, mission editor shows 830 kgs for full fuel tanks and it roughly equals 315 gallons showed by fuel gauge. So if i want 370 galls i get only 315 instead and there is no way how to refill the main tank to its full capacity.
  2. Internal capacity is 270 galls in the main fuel tank, right needle and 100 galls in aux. fuel tank, left needle. So, whole internal fuel capacity is 370 gallons as is written even in DCS P-47D-30 manual...
  3. Fuel quantity gauge for the Main fuel tank doesn`t show full tank, 270 galls, even 100% of fuel is selected. Needle shows only 215 gallons and never more.. I tried it several times, Chanel and Normandy map. DCS repair did not solve it.
  4. WEP with water injection is not implemented yet. It will be added during early access period.
  5. Control box for the K-14 gunsight is missing here in DCS P-47. It shoul be in the same position like in the P-47M/N. Jus under the K-14.
  6. Magnetic compass scale shows 0 (zero) instead of E as a East. N, W and S are O.K.
  7. P-47M was actually D-30 with a new engine and gunsight. The last D-30-RE S/N was 44-21107 the first M-1-RE S/N was 44-21108 And M left factory without dorsal fin, it was retrofited in England.
  8. Someone reminded me tail radar for D-40. So, plus AN/APS-13 for D-40?
  9. HVARs and gyrosight from factory and dorsal fin. If i remeber correctly.
  10. I had the same problem, not only with the P-51s but with the Spitfires too. I've found only one way how to solve it. To set controls for the D-25 and the D-30 separately. I did go into ME, i chose D-25 and after spawn i set and save controls. Than i switch off DCS W and after switch it on i did the same but in that case i chose the D-30 instead of the D-25. And agian i set and save controls. Now i have two files in C:\Users\...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input : - P-51D - P-51D-30 Before that i tried new, clean DCS W instalation and some more, but all was helpless. And i have no longer problem with settings. I did the same for the Spitfire and the Spitfire CW, because there was problem too.
  11. The best idea is try the TF-51D first. It is free and you will see what it requires, except weapons.
  12. I don't know, and i have no idea how many ammo the P-51 has in DCS. (i see what is in .lua for the P-51) Here is decription why 400 and when. Factory 400 as a standard seems to started somewhere during D-10 block production, so D-25/30 were with 400..
  13. With certain zoom-in in ME, map satelite, trees start to disappear from the map.
  14. Stationary train is not visible, only smoke from locomotive is visible from point where you put that train. This is from the beggining unfortunately. If you want stationary train, you must assemble it from static objects..
  15. Inner should have 400 rounds, 500 was banned because of gun jamming.
  16. Tree reasons IMHO. ED does not manage their business according to someone promises. Aviable data sources. Money, the F6F has better potential to make money than the A6M. p.s. i would personaly prefer the A6M :) and btw. intewrview with Nick Gray, the F6F is one of his favorite airplane ... thats is my reason why i think why the F6F is possible candidate for next WWII DCS module
  17. I like his videos, but sometimes it is not bad idea to check another sources. i.e. He touches briefly 200 gallons external fuel tanks, but without anything behind them. These tanks, "bath-tub", were intended for ferry purpouse and were unpressurized! So, they were usless above 20000ft. Only half of content was usable during standard escort flight and they added around 75 miles of range. P-47 groups began to use them in late July 1943. So in this case, his theory about escort bombers all the way and back to Schweinfurt with them is incorrect.
  18. Because of free WWII Mariana map is on the way, may be not this year, but still.. I guess, next WWII plane could be the F6F. :)
  19. The A-8 in stable DCS has only 250kg bomb, other weapons are only in beta DCS.
  20. Leatherneck Simulations writes in 2020 Spring update "...we took an effort to implement a Ye/Zb radio navigation system used by U.S. aircraft during WW2...". So, one day, WWII Marianas map, F4U-1D and Essex CV slass with working Ye/Zb radio :) (everyone could have dreams) http://leatherneck-sim.com/2020/05/20/crouching-update/
  21. Well, if you wanna be soooo accurate, you should use term Curtiss Electric propeller assembly with A.O. Smith blades. Simply C.E. assymetrical, for brief info, more than eough.
  22. All WIP pictures show blade setting for oposit propeller rotation... But, they are still WIP, so we will see when P-47 will be release. No reverse thrusts propeller for standard P-47. (could be tested, who knows?)
  23. Well, thank you for the internet and youtube :D "new propeller with broader blades" were all three new propellers, HS and both CE, symmetrical and asymmetrical. R. Johnson's D-21 was retrofited with CE symmetrical. last 10sec. from video :) and one picture R. Johnson and his plane
