  1. External fuel tanks are functional in both, Beta and Stable version. When external fuel tank is selected as a source, is necessary to move throttle to at least 1500 RPM for while when fuel pressure is falling and after that fuel pressure will remain sufficient. Without this, fuel pressure will drop to 0 PSI and engine will stop.
  2. None J2M ever reach Marianas. US force found there only some manuals for this plane. The J2Ms from the 381st kokutai (the first J2M unit deployed in combat zone) defended Borneo and few were found on the Philippines.
  3. Confirm that, Tangmere TWR does not reply to any frequency, HF, VHF and UHF, with plane on ground or in the air. I did not try 4,300MHz, have no plane for that...
  4. With certain map zoom, SAT view, sea will changed color from blue to brown. It is only in ME, not in game F10 view where see remains blue. And it is only for sea water, not river.
  5. Saburo CZ Lonewolf ping 150ms F-14 pilot red
  6. I have the same issue, engine will not stop until i set mags to "0" position. "Throttle to IDLE" can't stop engine, it remains still slowly running.
  7. I found one Spitfire pilot answer on q. : How clipped wings affected flying qualities? Rolling is faster with clipped wings and force required for ailerons decreased mainly at higher speeds. The Spitfire controls are now more harmonious than before (plane with standard wings). On the other hand, inducted drag increased perceptibly. At lower AoA it is not obvious and, conversely, decreased overall drag is noticeable and plane splendidly (more easily) gains speed, e.g. during descent at higher speeds. But an increase in AoA, especially during manoeuvre at higher speeds, results in significant increase inducted drag and plane loses energy rapidly (more rapidly than plane with standard wings). It is obvious mainly during transition to vertical manoeuvre and tight turns. The Spitfire with clipped wings there loses (against plane with standard wings) mainly for our purpose – flying it on airshows. But I admit that in combat, mainly at lower altitudes and during air to ground attacks, it (clipped wings) could have positive impact on flying qualities. He thinks that the Spitfire with clipped wings is more aggressive not only in flying qualities but in appearance too. The Spitfire with clipped wings looks like weapon more than the Spitfire with standard wings. p.s. it is not any complain about DCS Spitfire, i just think that it is interesing because there are not many direct comparison between Spitfire with clipped and standard wings. original, unfortunately only in czech, is here : https://www.eduard.online/rozhovor-s-pilotem-radimem-vojtou/
  8. MK108 in outer wing wing positions were relatively common for some units, IMO this modfication will be welcome in DCS W. I do not think that 30mm cannons in gondolas were used by operational units apart from some unsuccessful tests. But we need proper wing capable to carry 108s. If we get F-8, which was promised, we shold get it, it was common (or standard?) for F-8/9 variant. This is the A-8, W.Nr 739136
  9. I set manualy Ref. p,oint via AI RIO and menu "MANUAL ENTER NAVGRID REF UTILITY". It worked as intended. Then i was killed and took a new plane from the same spawn point. When i wanted to set manualy a new Ref. point co-oridnates a i could not do that. I got only two options after i opened "MANUAL ENTER NAVGRID REF UTILITY" : "CONFIRM" or "CANCEL", i can only confirm co-ordinates from previous flight. I tried third plane from another spawn point (and different airport) and situation was the same. Again, i could only confirm co-odrinates from my first flight and first setting. Then i set Ref. point as a bulls-eye, it was posible. After that i tried to change Ref. point manualy and again can only Confirm/Cancel co-ordinates from my first setting. I am not sure if it is bug or featur or i do something wrong. Thanks for any advice.
  10. One to point 4: AIM-7s on shoulders are now less draggy than AIM-54 there.
  11. Full fuselage tank was dangerous because stick force was reversed during tight turns and pull-out. It means that force needed to move elevator (pull) decreased with increased G-force and pilot could easy ovecome structural plane G-limits and destroy it, or just reach "black-out". It was reason why "bob weight" was instaled into elevator control line, to increase force needed to move it.
  12. This seems to be a bug. I can switch the "Supercharger switch" only to position "AUTO" from "LOW" by mouse. The supercharger swich does not respond to the mouse right click. To switch the supercharger switch "up" is possible only via key binds. When mouse poiner (yellow cross) is in position "green arrow" and i right click, green arrow will change in to yellow cross until i keep press it, the supercharger switch does nothing. Mouse left click works with the supercharger switch correctly. It does not work for all Mustangs. I am sure, it worked with both mouse clicks in past.
  13. I have only landing pattern used at Iwo, 7th AF fighters units. I guess, every units and airports had their own special or modified.
  14. Hi Groove, engine is supplied only from Aft fuel tank when fuel selector lever is in full Up position (1 - both tanks open) after yesterday's patch.
  15. I tried report this 3 years ago. May be, you will get better answer then i got... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179736
  16. Just mouse R-click on MODE SWITCH and hold it for 3-4 seconds and flag will disappear. And then you get "altitude data from CADC" instead of "backup (pressure) mode". It works for me this way.
  17. Yes, it has been working since release day. May be ManOwar's hint? Input.Fw190A8.trigger_b2, in "Stick" category Do you have this set for bomb drop?
  18. Yes, i do :)
  19. Did you set fuse timing? When "Bomb fusing selector" is in the middle, "OFF" position (default pos.), you will not drop bomb.
  20. According to Mudspike Ask Me Anything the P-47 will be released in Q1 2020. Can't wait
  21. Radio menu works as always did. When airborne you have to use different comand to open it.
  22. It was designed that way, one C/B for several plane system. It is the same for Fw. Yes, but engine life should be different. If you set engine power to 1,8ATA without MW injection, engine starts shaking and should die very soon... May be in DCS the second will happen when new DM come. When fuel is in auxiliary tank and MW/fuel selector is in MW position, MW pressure gauge should show pressure like in MW is in tank. Liquid is liquid, does not matter if it is fuel or MW. The selector determines where content from auxiliary tank will come, to main fuel tank or to the compressor inlet. Yes, no pilot action is required. That is true, you can change content in auxiliary tank only in ME, no in game.
  23. Choose "Navigation Target Points" and ADD one by one on the map and just name them, in Comment, exactly as they are named, IP, HA etc. %5Bimg%5Dhttps%3A//i.imgur.com/HJQUbTF.png[/img]
  24. I can not say why, but i switch it OFF in Options. Jester switches between PD-STT and P-STT only on my order, no after AIM-7 launch as he often does. Not ideal solution, but it works...
