  1. Well, it took the proverbial two-weeks to compete this Gun Strafing mission .. almost every test flight uncovered some bug or a way to improve the mission, but it is finally ready. I've just uploaded an updated mission pack today. Best regards, Eduardo
  2. The amount of DCS users that only fly historical scenarios always amuses me ... I'm more interested in learning the nuances of operating a different WW2 aircraft, than doing it over the exactly correct map and exactly correct AI units. I will fly the La-7 on the Normandy 2 Map, on a fictional soviet unit that operated on the western front, in the same way as the american Eagle squadrons did the same on the Soviet Union.
  3. honestly, I’m more of a mouse than keyboard user so I hadn’t really attempted to use the tab key within the Editor, but I agree that there are many tools lacking on it … one that I would love to have is a way to select a block of triggers and then be able to move them up or down within the trigger list, currently it only allows movement of single triggers. I also would love if triggers (and trigger zones) could be added to Static Templates, allowing me to build trigger blocks like a library of common functions. Finally, adding the ability to comment on triggers would do a lot for documenting the mission’s logic.

  6. No, the only thing we can do is deflect the stick out of the way, which is only possible while on the ground.
  7. Maybe that's it, I'm not using the copy/paste tool yet as I found its use a bit cumbersome and non-intuitive.
  8. Today I just closed a 2 hour mission editing session (for the MiG-21 on the Sinai map) and didn't find any laggyness, maybe it needs to be longer? Here is my log of this session: dcs.log.old
  9. That's sad to hear, he has always been a total gentleman whenever we have engaged on a topic ... why would a Moderator ban him?
  10. Do as Max said, but I suggest adding your DCS program path to your Antivirus exclusion list, as lately many DCS files are wrongly deleted by the AV. Every AV support exclusions but their details differ, for example this is the exclusion configuration for Microsoft Defender (the most common AV out there, many users do not even know that they have it active). Do this before doing the update.
  11. Thanks a lot @Scoop ... I added it to my Mods, replacing the original Humans&Lights pack: but upon testing i found that the textures for these objects are missing, like this: I will inspect it further to see if it is an error on my part, but thought that I would let you know first. Greetings
  12. Agree, DCS really needs a better handling of the Static Templates, it should never corrupt a mission no matter what.
  13. official modules are always present and placeable on the ME, they reside on the CoreMods folder and this allows you to edit missions even for aircrafts which you have not purchased.

  15. Not exactly, it is a mission that I use to check which argument value I get on different switch positions. I simply highlight the switch that I want to test. I'm enclosing the mission if you would like to try it, but it is set on the Sinai Map. (Edit: Just modified it for Caucasus) But this is one of 4 switches used to set the Sight Mode, none of the other 3 behave on this way. MiG-21bis - Cockpit Elements (by Rudel_chw).miz
  16. For some reason, the first time that I click on this switch, it goes Up and immediately goes down. Successive clicks works correctly, going up or down on a single click. No difference if I use left or right click:

  18. I have been flying the -21 non stop for over 2 months, and have not encountered this bug .. but I have not been purposefully trying to trigger it
