I try not to think about DCS elements that are not yet here, I’ve found it isn’t productive, so I’d rather focus on the elements we already have, to create my missions, plus I also like to try and test User Mods that provide additional elements, like those of @currenthill @Eight Ball and @Massun92 (plus so many others, the list is too long to mention here)

why does it matter? Would you hold your dcs flying to wait for them?

Un instante antes de bloquearse el log registra el mensaje: "EDCORE (Main): Out of memory in ed_malloc for 4498391055 bytes." Por otra parte, tu tarjeta gráfica tambien esta bajo el minimo que DCS requiere, ¿estas ocupando un laptop? Prueba a reducir estos parametros de la configuracion grafica de DCS: Visible Range (actualmente en high) Preload radius, esta en 30,000 bajalo a la mitad Esto reducira un poco la demanda de memoria, pero el unico remedio definito es añadir mas RAM a tu PC, para dejarlo en al menos 32 GB. No, ED does not update the manuals continually, like Heatblur for example does. Yes ... it was a great update when released ... but that was on DCS 2.5 days ... here is what people said at the time: No sorry, perhaps open a thread focused just on that subject?

Latest version, from 2020, is within the /doc folder of Dcs.

I didnt have any trouble the last time I flew it, but I did was running on fumes so the descent was steep and I lost one engine to fuel starvation while taxing

On my particular case, the only DCS aircraft for which I would pay again for a variant, is the JA variant of the Viggen … for all others, I’d rather spend the money on a completely different aircraft, like the Eurofighter for example.

Kola is a great map, and I used it to test the feasability of porting missions from one map onto another, for example this is a Viggen mission that I did for Nevada: and this is the exact same mission, ported to Kola: ... and of course the Viggen feels much more at home in Kola than in Nevada

I'd try the MizEdit utility, it has an option to export all texts from a mission

what for? both versions are identical from a Sim perspective (only difference I can see is the lack of the Module Manager on the Steam version) .. there is not a single reason to have both installs at the same time.

Stand-alone uses up the same amount of disk space, just delete the Steam version before you install the stand-alone.

Actually I was torn between doing these missions on either Kola or Sinai, finally the beautiful liveries by @Kerbo 416 tipped the scale in the Sinai direction … however these missions are relatively easy to port to another map, so in the future I might port them to Kola, it all comes down to having enough free time.

On my case, the FC aircraft turn me off with their lack of clickable cockpits, so I wouldn't pay an upgrade only to get higher system's fidelity, no matter how low such an upgrade would cost. Me too, my price point is one not higher than the Mirage F1 (because it has 4 variants).

Even if their price had to increase to cover the development cost?

I've been using the MiG-21 a lot lately, and I was getting a bit bored of the MiG's default theme. So, I replaced the wallpaper, the loading screen, and the background music. I'm sharing it so that maybe other users feel compelled to share theirs It's packaged in OvGME format, so that I can easily change themes as the mood strikes (as DCS only allows a single User Theme).
