Whilst we all understand, respect and indeed agree with your opinion, we also have to understand that all rights are not absolute and certainly not in this instance. There has to be a little bit of give and take from both sides in order to reach a satisfactory solution in this instance.
As Matt stated, ED are re-evaluating the circumstances governing the 3 day period.
What we need to do as consumers is to give ED constructive feedback as it relates to the three-day period and why it is not a good idea, apart from infringing on your right to choose - as I said, rights are never absolute in cases such as these.
What circumstances are there that would arise where this 3-day period will inconvenience a user to such an extent as to qualify for a serious infringement on said user's rights of use and enjoyment of the game purchased?
Start listing such examples in an objective, constructive manner.
Only then will we all be able to aid ED in arriving at a satisfactory solution.
