  1. LAlt 6 is Route Following mode IIRC. It's listed in the Controls screen under SU-27/Autopilot - have a looksee :)
  2. Well no wonder you're getting killed then. Try toggling the appropriate AP mode by having regard to LAlt 1 through to LAlt 6 and note the difference. Edit: Oh yes, and reset/cancel AP with LAlt 9, otherwise you're just digging yourself another grave.
  3. Cannot replicate. Kindly post a track.
  4. Not hearing it at all replaying your track. Be sure to check with latest update 34087.
  5. Yeah it's a known issue. The AP logic is being worked on. In the interim, as I stated in another thread, be sure to be trimmed properly before engaging any AP mode - seems to eliminate most of the wobbles from what I have seen/experienced. Edit: As Ironhand also confirms, trim and you'll see the difference.
  6. Ta for the track :) Had a look and your problem is that you are waiting too long to rotate, thus damaging your gear. Also, clear the ground properly before retracting your gear. At the weight you were in that track (light) you can start pulling back on the stick at 240km/h and lift off at approx 260km/h. Wait until you are well clear of the runway and retract your gear. See your enclosed track where I took control and flew the take-off as an example. Hope this helps - shout if you have any further questions regarding the Toad. Track: su25 wheel jam #1.trk
  7. You need to post a track.
  8. Take note that that is the Open-Beta. Release version still at 33921.
  9. Trim first to the desired attitude and then hit LAlt-1 for Attitude Hold.
  10. :megalol: Soooo......you want to look back and look yourself in the eyes? In the absence of a mirror that would be a pretty neat parlour trick. Sadly beyond the realms of physical possibility I would have thought, unless you are referring to actually sitting on the pilot's lap at the time and since 'two-person-shennanigans-in-single-cockpit' have not yet been modelled I'd say that all is working as it should, ergo no problem, as designed and no bug.
  11. Throttle at idle?

  13. To post a track, do the following: Run the mission and when you have replicated the issue just hit 'Esc' and you will be taken to the debrief screen. On the debrief screen there is a tab that allows you to save the track named 'Save Track'. Click on 'Save Track' and follow the prompts to save the track which will be saved in your Saved Games/DCS...../Tracks folder. Once the track is saved, navigate to the Main screen and hit the 'Replay' tab. Select your track to view and just confirm that the track has saved and is indeed playing back correctly and illustrating the problem as you experienced it in-mission. If you are satisfied, exit SIM and post a reply to this thread. When doing so, you will notice a paperclip icon for attachments in the top toolbar. Click on the paperclip and a new window (manage attachments) will pop up. Hit the 'Choose file' tab on the left and navigate to the location of your track file and hit open. Thereafter hit the 'Upload' tab and the track will upload. Once done, click on the paperclip icon again and the forums will automatically insert the track link for you in your text. Hit the 'Submit Reply' tab and you're good to go.
  14. Where's the track that should accompany all bug reports?
  15. Excerpt from first-hand account of a Marine Test Pilot's flight out of Ramenskoye airfield in a SU-27:
  16. Weapons pylons absent. Yes it's known.
  17. Confirmed as pending.
  18. Num* and Num/
  19. Herewith excerpt of a Marine test-pilot's commentary after a ride in a UB:
  20. There is no extreme acceleration as I maintain a constant speed, give or take a couple of km/h either way. If it does not look like the real thing then by all means speak up, be more specific and tell me what is different: I'm not interested in guessing.
  21. In-SIM it takes 35-odd seconds to coast to a full-stop at idle whilst taxiing to RW (see end of vid as plane comes out of turn - engines at idle and 35 secs to coast to stop). I'd call that slight speed lost any time of the day, just as in RL. See vid - no braking and yes, it is necessary to increase throttle every so often as per the RL vid. How else does one overcome the inertia (farting won't help) of a 23-ton Jet? NHUazR8EQ3o In vid I taxi at approx 40km/h. Could have motored about at 30km/h utilizing same principles but vid would have been longer, hence the 40km/h standard.
  22. Tried updating from the Win Start menu?
  23. You shittin' me? What part of 'Damage modelling not yet complete, ie W.I.P.' do you not understand? Seriously, what part exactly?
  24. PADI certified as well. Dives limited to East Coast of South Africa.
