  1. Hi I play on a flat TV in full HD please tell me i missed something in my setting, the game seem blurry (short range 0.5Nm to 10Nm), label are blurry too when moving (no AA here because don't like the blurry effect) Best regards

Why not? smart scalling depends of the distance so what is the prob with that? closer you are, more the scale up is small From your answer you seem don't know it and never tried, so how can you be sure your conclusion isn't irrelevant too? Hi I'm not for or against Smart Scalling but from remember smart scalling isn't as your screenshot, it must be apply to each 3d objects not only your plane, so objects are bigger proportionnaly to the distance (the prob is more when you use gun at range, smart scalling make think pipper is on target but in reallity not always because the target is smaller). Have you already try a simulator using it? don't know if it's smart scalling but Tacview use auto zoom on 3d objects and it's usefull no? It seems professionnal sim use it Best regards

Hi using Real Weater on my server, it should be great to be able to switch from a cloud preset to another 1 without need to restart the mission and to can set different weather (T°, pressure wind, cloud preset) for different airport (so we could use some metar in real time) and ps: Add Tornado and cyclone too Best regards

Hi since long time i changed the default cockpit view FOV with SnapView.lua i use 100° but since the previous patch when i jump in the plane the 100° become 120° (when i check FOV in FPS indicator) and when i zoom to get the 100° the HMCS is much less readable (maybe the HMCS FOV is different?) Hi, I don't know nothing sure but sometimes i have feeling something is broken specially about IR with the F18 F18 with high alpha must be very good with 9M, but from my feeling it's easier with F16. In F18 i have feeling the aim9M lost the track easier or doesn't use max G But it's certainly i don't know how to use it correctly in F18. Maybe i have feeling to be in the good parameters but it's not the case? Radar lock and Seeker lock seem slower too in F18 but here too it's just a feeling Best regards 9M from F16.trk 9M.trk

  11. Hi no i mean spin recovery but it was before the last big FM update (and didn't try since several time (maybe years) before the update of this month) PS: is it normal we can select gun mode with spin recovery? in the past it was possible and after it wasn't and now again possible

  13. Hi sorry it seems maybe i done a mistake here it's maybe from the new FM. In the past (previous version before the FM update) the spin recovery mode gave (under 150Kcas) extra and fast pitch control (and vertical turn rate), now it seems this extra pitch is always possible spin recovery or no spin recovery (maybe i'm not right here too and it's different from the previous extra pitch with the spin recovery) I do almost Dogfight with F18 on DCS but i'm not specialist of slow speed (same with spin recovery) just tested the spin recovery because it was mentionned in the change log of the previous update ("Fixed: Spin Recovery Mode is not working.") and noticed the spin recovery button hasn't anymore effect on the pitch In the rules of the ladder I participate the spin recovery is forbiden (from memory it was because of this extra pitch control) But someone maked me noticed now the spin recovery button works on the rudder and lateral stick action and yes it's effective.   14. Hi maybe i'm not right but it seems the effect of spin recovery mode on the FM is always activate (the ability to pull aft at slow speed and move the nose up fastly as with the spin recovery mode) Best regards

  18. Hi, If the uncage mode is very practical on the F16, I don't understand the logic of uncage on the F18. It seems that the uncage mode only allows you to recenter the sensor but not to free it. How do you check that the IR sensor has locked onto the target? (specially with Aim9M since there sensor are lesser good than 9X) How do you use it? Best regards

Hi impossible to lock with HMCS sometimes (too frequently), this bug from memory appeared at the same patch the HMCS bug in F16 has been fixed, before this bug from memory in the same condition the lock was instant (and in the other planes it works fine so it seems a bug). The radar seems not following the HMCS? Hi i noticed 3 prob with the F18 radar but it's not easy to do a short track of this, on session of 1h ou 2h of Dogfight the prob appear several time : 1 the prob describe by others in BFM before the merge (between 10Nm and maybe 3Nm, under it lock again) 2 About the same prob but in HMCS mode, if the target is in the hud it can't be locked, i'm not sure it's normal 3 In HMCS since the first patch after the 2.8 was out, some lock aren't possible while it's in dogfight (short range) and inside the gimbal limit as if it was beaming but from memory before this patch we had instant lock in the same conditions (check the video) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-p_Y6Pf1f70zX1IwTztWf9lxB9yYWLRg/view?usp=share_link Best regards
