I don't think China Lake was ever mentioned by Wags, but rather a plausible wishlist items from us. I think the only place that was left to be added down the road was the NTC area of Fort Irwin to accommodate Green Flag operations.

Maybe try DXT1 (no alpha) and see if that helps

I am trying to locate the file that contains the circled texture. It does not appear to be located in either -c or -d (the two tail files). Any ideas?

Another close encounter I had was with C-141 66-0177 otherwise known as the Hanoi Taxi while it was still in active service. Back in 2003(ish) I was working base ops as NAS New Orleans when a C-141 arrived wearing the old MAC colors, I thought this odd, since everything was various shades of grey, and here was a C-141 in gleaming white and grey. Once it was parked, and I was off duty, I walked out to the plane and low and behold above the access door was "HANOI TAXI". I talked with one of the pilots who let me take a look inside and he showed me around. The walls of the cargo area were lined with pictures from the first repatriation flight. Along with the signatures of all those who were freed on various parts of the plane. Also over all of the crew positions was the names of each crew member and their job. I saw it again a few years ago sitting outside the USAFM at Wright Patterson AFB, where it waits for the new wing to open. I hope they open it up for all to see what it contains.

When an aircraft is set to "UNCONTROLLED" it will sit at it's spot with its engine(s) running. I have tried unchecking and rechecking the box to no avail. It affects both player and AI only aircraft.

You have to make a description.lua, I was trying to figure it out last night without luck.

So I did a bit more experimenting and this does occur in other aircraft when using the L-CTRL+L-SHIFT+L combination regardless of bindings. However, the L-CTRL+L-SHIFT+L combination does seem to reverse the effect, so that's a plus and not a game breaker. It's only when SR is running either as host or client. I have a feeling it is something SR is interacting with some other software that is running, that doesn't like that keybinding. But all that under-the-hood stuff is dark magic to me, so you are on your own.

So I did try the L-CTRL+L-SHIFT+L and it worked, went back to normal. Also my export.lua is attached. Export.lua

I haven't tried it yet, I will later this evening. Honestly I haven't used SR in a while so Im not sure what version this is. I will try those solutions.

no Tacview, L-CTRL+L-Windows is a shortcut to type in the CDU with the keyboard for the A-10C.

I think I may have found a bug, when I run SR either host or join, and mods or vanilla, I have found that when I push L-CTRL + L-Win + L the game suddenly starts lagging until I exit SR, then the game is fine, but when I relaunch SR the lag returns until I exit DCS and restart it. The game runs fine otherwise and SR runs fine as long as I don't hit those keys.

Wow, I've always wanted to get on a photoship flight.

I have found that you must unplug and replug in your CH products the first time you start the game. I have both the pedals and throttle and have this issue. You can also do this in-game if you forget.

Closest, was a reward for a great service to a certain US ANG squadron, I got a ride in the backseat of an F-15B to do ACM with the rest of the day's flights. I was able to say conscious(ish) through 9.1g's. You couldn't wipe the smile off my face for months. Even now I get a stupid smile any time I see an F-15. My closest as a civilian, was when they were retiring the A-10 from their New England bases, we had one come by my airport, it did a low pass, 100' or so off the runway. Another aircraft in the pattern said, "aw come on, you can do better than that." The A-10 then requested another pass, this time, had a person been standing on the runway, the wing would have cut them in half at the hip (this happened on the one day I didn't bring my camera to work). Also I got to see this beauty one day at work.

Voc, this is absolutely wonderful addon. Is there anyway we could get a reskin of the people in USAF uniforms, they would make a great EOR compliment for both the Black Sea map and Nellis.

If the NTTR expands to R-2502 we will likely only see Barstow Airport and maybe China Lake NAWS. I think that is a big IF at this point with what else is going on, but they have surprised us before.

I would like to see an AI KC-130T or J with the upcoming F/A-18 and AV-8B. Would really bring out the MAGTF in DCS.
