  1. You can have an off response without having a target blip, IFF is based on a transponder in the target aircraft. I have had IFF responses from aircrafts I didn't have on my DDD Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. Another thing is those range on the DDD apply to the IFF so in that case you can use the 200nm settings Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. On the ics control panel, there is the 'hot mic' switch. Was it on ? If on your mic will always transmit to the pilot/Rio. Otherwise you need to key the left pedal to talk to the pilot. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. What do you mean ? Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. Imo they are completely useless. There is a lot of better ways to control cockpit. Vr controllers is the less ergonomic one Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi f4IO, Thanks for all your work! I wonder if you have considered adding to following features to simshaker: Could it be possible to have an effect that related sideslip with a left-right rumble ? Of course this wouldn't be fully realistic. But it is very difficult to 'sense' sideslip in our Sims, this would allow with more feedback to the sim pilot using other senses than looking at the ball Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. Imo using the vr controller at all is very impractical Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. How do you get this time to go info as a human RIO?
  9. does it have to be a constant factor ? I can't be a function of speed ? DCS limitation ?
  10. Disregard comment
  11. Normally BRC should be given in magnetic heading, so USS Kobuleti should have BRC64. But a lot of mission designer and scripts make the mistake and give a true bearing. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. it is a lot of overhead. plus it is not free. and for some people with some language windows speech recognition is not that good.
  13. Another option that would end up with same result, would be to have a keybind that recenter the mouse in the view. But then we still need fix #2 as currently, when the mouse is movable, the cursor for comms window is very offset.
  14. DOn't you ever wish you could pin the blue cross to center of view with a button click ? after you lost it because slewing to far ? Sure most of the time you can just grab the mouse, but it is easier said then done, while flying formation, tanking ... I have also my buttons on my hotas. But no way to return pointer to center, other than release the stick and take the mouse in hand
  15. Just so you know rider, I have this error when installing VRK : https://imgur.com/a/5wXNvAK However it looks like the installation proceeds normaly, and the tool is functional. so no big deal
  16. A simple request for ED, but which I believe could be very usefull to a lot of VR users : Please add a keybind to toggle the option 'Use Mouse' from the VR menu in game. This would allow pilots to quickly switch between a fixed mouse pointer to easily activate things by looking at it (mostly during fights, where you focus more on the stick&throttle than clicking switches) and a movable mouse pointer for more relaxed phase of flight (start up for instance). Another somewhat related request : When 'use mouse' is checked and you try to interact with the radio comms window it seems that the 'blue cross' pointer in the 3D world is offset from the 'white dot' pointer in the 2D radio comms window. This offset is not present when the cursor is fixed with 'use mouse' unchecked. It would be nice to fix this as well. Thank you :)
  17. Probably your vr most tracking, not related to dcs. What headset doyou you have? Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  18. Hi guys, Thanks for the amazing module, best quality module in DCS ! However if possible could to add the following button to be key binded, it is usefull for those with pits & button boxes. F-14 Pilot : HUD Brightness VDI brightness HUD night filter VDI night filter CRS selection knob inc/dec HDG selection knob inc/dec Engine pri/sec mode I am sure there is a few other one. do you plan to add it in the close future ?
  19. A New graphics engine ? Are you serious ? We are talking years ! Maybe Devs should have thought about this kind of issue while implementing the current engine. We are not talking about a small cosmetic issues, we are talking about a fundamental part of the game. Unable to see aircraft afar during night. Unable to have landing light illuminates runway ... 20. No fix for this bug but maybe a work around. I feel it is less apparent if you reduce speed of the boat (add wind to compensate if necessary) or maybe add a script to start boat stationary and make it does up for the cat shot Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  21. Do you have values from previous releases to compare ? Yesterday I did a mission and was trying to keep up in my F-14 (2- sparrow, 2 phoenix, 2 fuel tank) with quite heavy loaded f18. And I was barely able to keep up without AB. So did the drag on F18 overall reduce or increase since last release? Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  22. Why don't you create the flight plan with one aircraft and then copy paste it ? Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  23. What do you mean exactly ? It seems that currently only in Sidewinder mode the pilot had a HUD diamond in TCS lock.do you mean that in the future the TCS lock will be visible by the pilot when other weapons are selected ? Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  24. You are a bit late to the party ... Wags stated a few time that they are working on a new humidity simulation. That will bring among other new clouds. However how long this will take before it releases is anyone's guess Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah, it is sad that occulus is not more open. I don't get the point. However for me there is a substantial performance difference between steamVR and occulus driver with similar settings :/ Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
