  1. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever bring myself to pay for stuff like this unless it's usable in some way - definitely not if it's just cosmetic.
  2. This is what I'm using with a 3D printed part from Shapeways, works perfectly for the Hornet
  3. Outstanding - I don't have a two year old to contend with! Just need to wait til my batch ships now :(
  4. Thanks for the images Flow - really looking forward to getting mine now!
  5. Honestly, I can't see it being released that close to Christmas - no launch goes without bugs that need to be crushed, and I doubt HB would want to either a) risk us having a potentially broken product over the holidays, or b) have staff on hand over the holidays to support in case of bugs. I reckon we'll get it by early-mid December, or it'll be January.
  6. I have the Shapeways part on the way, that plus some tweaking of the curves = sorted!
  7. While I hype myself up to receive my slew (I'm guessing late Oct/early Nov!), can I ask those who have it - what gate have you used, square or circle?
  8. Joined the queue for the November batch - can't wait now!
  9. Massively, massively excited at the prospect of HB potentially doing an Intruder. My absolute favourite aircraft, ever. Gonna try really hard not to get myself hyped up...
  10. If you're using high drag bombs, that's to be expected, unless you have an extremely steep dive angle?
  11. Amazing. Thanks so much - keep up the great work!
  12. Massively interested in this!
  13. With them being USAF weapons, I doubt we'll ever get them for the Harrier - we'll just have to wait for ED to fix the Mk20, which they will likely be doing for the Hornet.
  14. Find throttle cutoff in the controls, double click in the Warthog Throttle column and then bring your throttle back over the idle stop and save that bind. You'll never inadvertently cut off your throttle again.
  15. The issue I'm having is I can see a small number of servers, but I can't connect to the hosted server my friends are playing on - it's not in the browser, and DCS tells me the server is offline when I try to connect via IP. DNS flush did not help, no firewall restrictions, repair did not help. EDIT: No issue with server lists in Open Alpha. Seems restricted to 1.5 for me.
  16. Absolutely. It's possible to Over Temp the engine and then be unable to produce max RPM and thus max thrust.
  17. I'm not sure ARBS is able to do this in reality - it's designed for bombing static targets, after all.
  18. Just like the MWS on the M2k?
  19. It does, it doesn't have the DMT/ARBS. EDIT: Zeus, not sure if this has been asked before, so apologies if it has - are there any plans to add the "British" weapon hardpoints at the same position as the outrigger gear?

    LHA-1 Tawara

Zeus - are there any plans to make the spawn positions on the "ramp" behind the island, rather than on the main deck?
  21. Assuming you mean the Warthog... Stick - AA Weapon Select on TMS Left/Down/Right, TDC Down (Action) on TMS Up, SSS on CMS, TDC on the DMS switch for now, WP Increment on Missile Step, AG Undesignate/NWS on pinkie switch. Trim, trigger, weapon release as normal. Throttle - ECM dispense switch on coolie hat, flap switch up/down on china hat, airbrake on/off on speedbrake aft/forward. Uncage on throttle AP switch. Haven't bound anything more as yet.
  22. Zeus, you're a(n) (inter)national treasure!

    Warthog HOTAS

The "issue" here is whether or not there are relevant three position switches in the Harrier, or if there are abstractions that Razbam can put together that make sense. Since it's early and I'm still half asleep, I won't try to make suggestions, but since we got similar things for the Mirage I would say its a distinct possibility!
  24. Depending on ordnance and fuel, up to 600 feet, per Art Nalls/Joe Anderson.
