  1. I would recheck the connection, and if it still doesnt register the axis, try again with the original sensor. If that works fine, it may be an issue with the new unit.
  2. Honestly, I think it just has to part of any sequence, not necessarily the active one, and then set as the A/A waypoint. That would make more sense rather than requiring it to be part of the active sequence. I guess we'll need to get confirmation from the powers that be.
  3. Wouldn't this be more likely to be an issue with OP's hardware? Otherwise, we'd hear everyone having the same issue, and this is the first time I've read of it happening.
  4. Wholesome forum etiquette right here!
  5. I'm pretty sure deselecting them will cause them to spin down, but I may have misread - I'll gladly be corrected by someone who knows a lot more than me! I'm not sure you can pass different coords to individual bombs and ripple them all off at once, does anyone know for sure?
  6. Or moving. I haven't done much anti-ship in DCS, so I don't know what they're capable of in terms of evasion, but I imagine that at the very least you'd need her to be going slowly and in a straight line, and for them to be laser guided at the very least.
  7. Yep! /thread! I think JDAM usage in the Bug will be interesting, and will potentially catch out Hog drives - as I understand it, if you deselect them then you'll need to allow two and a half minutes spin-up time when you reselect them again. Will make proper attack planning very important.
  8. Does anyone know if our Legacy Bug can utilise JDAMs in the Pre-planned mode the way the Rhino can? That is, assign up to six PP missions (with target co-ords and launch points)?
  9. Out of interest, do you have a source for that at all?
  10. Agreed, and I did the same recently - not that he ever did anything to me, I just got fed up seeing his attitude everywhere.
  11. No - as far as I know, this system was never actually used on Legacy Hornets or Rhinos. Limited to Self Protection, Target of Opportunity and Pre-Briefed modes.
  12. My understanding is that L&S is part of track-while-scan functionality - it's essentially the first priority track, either manually designated by the pilot or by entering single target track.
  13. It's limited due to the Hornet itself, not because of their implementation.

  15. Sounds like more than enough to go with for a jet which isn't a dedicated SEAD platform like the F-4G, Tornado ECR, or Prowler/Growler!
  16. That's fair, Bankler - thanks for the reply! As I said, it's a great tool for pointing out where you're out of parameters at any given point of the pattern, and fairly quickly took me from screwing it up royally to being able to trap with a 150-ish score. I'll definitely keep using it - thanks again!
  17. Cheers QuiGon - so it seems that the Charlie has better range and lethality than preceding models.
  18. No problem: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 As for the differences, I'm honestly not sure. I know the E features millimetre-wave radar, but beyond that, I would assume the differences are in the effective range and counter-countermeasures arena.
  19. Hah, "maybe" :P
  20. This would make this mission perfect IMO - I already love it (Improved from a couple of aborts at 15 points, up to a few 3 and 4 wire traps at circa 150 score over the course of an evening), the only thing missing is an actual LSO grade! I guess you could work it out manually...
  21. We're getting the C, per Wags.
  22. You make it look easy mate - nice trap!
  23. Is battery life even modelled in DCS at the moment? If not, do we know if it's planned as part of these missile reworks?
