Once ATFLIR is implemented, I'm sure you'll be able to do this. Re the "undesignate" function with WPDSG waypoints, I'm not sure. I believe the -65E currently slews to the velocity vector, but the way this is worded sounds like we'll be able to slew around the target waypoint.

I think that just means that the seeker is biased towards locking points that are either white (WHT) or black (BLK). If you watch the example video Wags linked, you can see the crosshairs change noticeably when it locks (seeker tracking state) a target ("shaking" for want of a better word!).

In the absence of an answer from Wags/ED, I would hazard a guess that... probably? Mavericks work by keeping the contrast of the target point, plus it'd be crazy if the Hornet couldn't engage moving targets with Maverick while its contemporaries (F-16, A-10C, AV-8B) can.

Agreed, Razor - plus, you're a lot faster than the A-10! Besides, later A-6E could carry Sidewinders, not sure if this is the one Heatblur are planning on doing, but if so we son't be entirely toothless. I'd go as far as to say we'd be a much more dangerous target than a Hog!

Silly question - have you asked the JTAC to actually lase the target, ie the "LASER ON" comms option?

You'd think so - I believe it works this way in the Viper

The AIM-120 should loft automatically at certain ranges - I don't remember specifically, but inside a certain range, it will not loft.

The issue with that is that certain modules (thinking of the Harrier specifically) may have had binds change since 1.5, so the profiles may not work fully.

I think the bigger question is - why does it bother you so much?
