Does not work for my Quest 3 either. Rolling back to v62. Edit: I swear since i have "force_oculus_VR" instead of "force_openXR" in the shortcut comment with v62 software, DCS runs smoother.

Check your settings if the antialiasing had not defaulted to off.

I found out the sliced encoding must be default (or off) otherwise i get stutter. Turbo in oxrtk on. Q3 runs awesome at 80hz, 1.4 res in oculus settings, asw on auto - most of the time off except when low above Haifa. And i still wait for prescription lenses so it will be even better. I tried old G2 for comparision, it is like looking through a pipe with everything blurred except for center. Q3 for the win.

Hi gents, soon to be owner of Q3. I plan to use cable link due to no good wifi router. Few questions: - What does the "encoding bitrate" do? Is it affecting picture quality like resolution? - Can I use steamvr as openxr runtime (i do with g2 because of better reprojection), or only openxr (with g2 its reprojection is much worse) or there is this asw setting in oculus debug tool, which replaces both of them? I just fiddled with my newly delivered Q3 until 2am after 3 years of using G2. I still wait for prescription lenses, but with q3 i just move eyeballs to look left and right, instead of moving the whole head to aim the sweetspot. And especially the vertical fov is much better. I run it with the cable - much lighter than the g2 monstrosity, air link and virtual desktop giving me awful performance - probably my wifi modem sucks. It does not fit my face as good as g2 did, i have the better strip and might try that better face foam or whatever it is called, but it feels lighter. Around nose there is a bit space, for ventilation? Ability to set 72-80-90 Hz helps fine tuning. One needs to spent his time reading and finding things out (where to switch cable link etc), but it is a step forward and I liked G2. Cheap 2nd hand G2 is excellent choice for vr beginners.

After landing, F5 behaves as if the tyre blew off and strongly veers to the left. I need to taxi with NWS on.

Which weather combos are your favourite ones? Selecting none, height 2500 m, thickness 2500 m and density 3-4 brings awesome experience. Once I managed to make 2-layer altocumulus or stratus type 3 or 4 and never before had such feeling of depth. Bandit mate, outstanding job!

Recent steamvr update brought terrible stutter, but selecting some older steamvr version fixed things for me.

Absolutely amazing. Just cruised above and between two levels of altocumulus above Syria at 26k. Thanks!

DLSS on quality and crank up the resolution via OpenXR Toolkit from 3000 to 5000. Looks almost smooth as DLAA and runs better. 100x better than terrible jaggies and shimmering with 2xMSAA. DCS never looked and ran better.

Use SteamVR as your Openxr runtime and the ghosting will be much reduced.

MY favorite map. Lot of trees are performance heavy and cities 10x, if I can circle the Haifa and can not a SA city quarter if its size, there must be some tech with better optimization. Sat all the way, even I understand there is lot of work in fixing the photo glitches, various shades etc. I made few maps for Condor gliding sim and it was helluva work.

It runs the reprojection with much less artifacts than openxr. Anyway back to the topic - make symmetrical by the left eye improves the eyestrain and makes everything more 3d, with more realistic perception of depth.

There is plenty of troubles with Intel CPUs. I went from 3070 to 4080 (on 5600x) and the improvement had been great.

Fw 190 suck since the old IL-2. Your whatever kind of advantage evaporates in the moment you pull the stick; the plane behaves as if deploying the braking chute, losing speed and getting into nasty one-wing fall. I like DCS Dora though: you can feel the 2000 hp, especially at the full power take-off and it got formidable looks. Fly Bf 109 as epee and Fw 190 as steel maul.

Guys if nothing works, i recommend to roll back a version and wait to try another beta. There are DCS things between heaven and earth, stutter and smooth play. For onliners, I bet you haven't mastered all F-16s Harm modes anyway.

Try clouds at highest setting. Go to the 4th toolkit tab and there are pixels, not % - I have it at 4800 x something.

I need to set the "swap eyes" setting by every dcs start. The initial srteen always appears. "Save and exit" button is red and does not react to clicking. I deleted the original lua file when trying to reset the tool. I have G2, what is the file name?
