I believe it is not the card itself, but the unknown wild DCS card which makes one PC run VR smoothly and the second indentical one poorly. I had stellar performance until I reinstalled WMR software and it runs sucky since. I reinstalled <profanity> again and again, drivers, beta steamvrs, this, that, never got the smoothness back. But good for you.

I stay with March 2021 465.89 driver cause it was much, much smoother than any others. RTX 3070.

I had close to 100% VR performance at 100% G2 res, highest settings, 2xAA with 2.7 after the "kill the HolographicShell" process, like smooth low flight above big cities and forest. But I experienced some crashes and decided to reinstall WMR software. Since then no crashes but performance is just awfull. No clue which settings is responsible.

Put sslr, ssao and cockpit illumination to off.

I remember old times some 20 year ago, when Oleg the Great, leaving the Moscow office on Friday evening, released some IL2 patch by himself and left for home. Server immediately crashed upon demand so no one got the patch, and it was before a long weekend combined with some national holiday. Comment from Ubisoft was like "well Oleg surprised us all". Awesome times.

My v1 cable worked only on pcie 4x usb hub. v2 cable does not connect at all when plugged into the hub but works on normal motherboard usb. But the hub itself works as i moved joysticks, pedals there.

No I want a buggy one and then quick fix tomorrow

Try different USB port or use USB PCIE hub. V1 cable worked on hub only and v2 cable works on usb3.0 motherboard slot only.

I had similar issues and the culprit was bad v1 cable. Now flying with v2.

I had the same issue, white led on the power brick blinked slowly. I got a new v2 cable from HP. Try another cable or try your cable with another unit.

I guess big patches of different weather rolling through the map. Curious about how many settings and sliders will be available. 2.8 this week or 2.8 news this week?

My G2 died this morning, white LED flashes on the power brick but nothing else. My unit is from April 2021 with V1 cable, still under warranty. I wrote to the shop to do something. I became addicted to Condor2 glider sim so time is tough lol. At least I am back to glider skinning.

Guys set textures to medium in graphic settings, good workaround until dcs core engine is updated. I personally cannot see any difference.
