    Yesterday's tutorial for using the radar and dive toss mode in the A-4. Been a while since I used it, but very effective. The landing was an embarrassment though. Thought I would keep it in there.

    Thank you so much for doing this! And we greatly appreciate all the kind words. A lot of people have been asking for this. I am glad to see you on here posting. Hopefully we can figure out some of the performance issues for anyone having them. About to post some more videos from todays flights. Look forward to making this an even better experience in the future.

    LMFAO! Tried my hand at some AI stuff for the intro. Created the photo with a combo of Chat GPT and Midjourney, then followed up by making it animated with Hailu AI. Great stuff! I will probably start doing more of this.

    Mongos perspective from the flight. I left out where I was looking down at my instruments in the A-4 and drove her right into the ocean, hence the immediate CSAR of me lifting off and picking myself up. Just mean I need to go shoot another A-4 video today. Working the second part of this video now. This first video was the 3 of us trying to take out one annoying group that was really dug in pretty good. Also tried my hand at some AI stuff with my inro. Found some pretty good software to animate photos.

    Below is a solo flight in the Huey on our dedicated team server. I wanted to demonstrate with the latest version of ITJ you can absolutely have a stunning time solo on the mission. This started out as an early search and destroy and turned into a CSAR. We are working to incorporate further types of flying objectives and which I will discuss soon. We do not want to make any promises we cannot script, but we have some very cool ideas all centered around Vietnam War era aviation roles. The music was to keep the video entertaining since there were no comms chatter between myself and the guys. Towards the end I narrate on the last leg home explaining a few things we are planning. Time stamps included in the video to skip around. Hope you enjoy. This was a very fun and unexpected encounter. 1 fire fight led to multiple when I accidentally flew over a second group.

    I have to second this Kandy! I went off in the weeds on the F-35 and the HMDS, but I greatly appreciate the hard work they have put into this sim. It shows every time we fly. I would go as far to say that the aggressive criticism and flak they took from me is because my love for this sim and appreciation I have for ED and DCS World goes far beyond any hobby I have. Always looking forward to the next update. @Wags @NineLine Gents thanks for all the hard work on the new fog and continuing to make our combat sim dreams come true. We are grateful for all the hard work you do put into this. The team and I are doing our best to bring Vietnam to DCS until you gents bring the map our way. @Wags Wags, please don't take my visor comments personal as of late. Honestly, it's your fault because you guys made the sun so damn good in game, it will legitimately blind you in VR, which I greatly appreciate. Look forward to those tinted visors when you guys can squeeze them in! For the rest of the ITJ crew and fans, below was an A-4 video from this past weekend. Uploading a solo Huey video next from a flight I took today. Kandy has done a tremendous job with his scripting and dynamic spawns. Every group is continuously somewhere different now. You really need to watch the Jungle. Even better during an early morning flight in the fog.

    Thought about hitting @Massun92 up to see if he would be interested in tackling the above since he is working the cockpit over. It would be awesome if he could take on doing an earlier variant like mentioned above. The desire is there for sure!

    Agree 100% That would be awesome. I would assume the owner would have to grant permission. As good as the Cayuse is, I would like to see them make their own.

    Here was a good one from last week's flight with the Cayuse and boys overhead providing CAS. Ultimately, we demonstrated the damage model and on a fly by collision at the end when sitting on the deck at the FARP. Good times. Since posting this video, significant changes have been made with dynamic spawns and additional maritime assets being added to enhance the authenticity and feeling around the island. A hug shout out to Tobi and Eight Ball for their contributions with their Maritime pack. I will be posting another thread soon with some Vietnam suggestions that would be an outstanding addition to the VAP pack if they can pull it off (of course they can! LOL).     For anyone looking for Vietnam content and a mission, linking our forum thread below. The boys and I are working very hard to provide everyone with DCS Vietnam until the official map and content are released. The thread explains everything but it is only period specific aircraft in game and a few high-quality mods. Cant wait for the Super Sabre and Starfighter to make the scene this year. They will be added for sure. Going to script some intercept mission with the F-104 out of Andersen. Also attached a video from last week running CSAR with the boys on the Southern tip of Guam. This mission never gets old!

    As Kandy stated, combined arms. You have to be in spectator mode if you have CA and then go to the F-10 map and locate the jeep with an E in the middle. There is a button on the F-10 map that lets you take control of it. From there, you would need to bind your keys for combined arms to drive the jeep.

    Been meaning to shoot this video for a while. Those of you who struggle or want to know how we are using the radios in all aircraft in ITJ, this is for you. I am by far no expert nor a real pilot, but we love keeping it real and flying with realistic radios. The video will teach you how to communicate in SRS and help you trouble shoot in each aircraft if you are not hearing anything. This is not an SRS install/setup video. It's all about operating the radios in cockpit with SRS. Feel free to ask questions if you are struggling. I guarantee the three of us who fly together have probably encountered the same issues at some point in time with comms in DCS. Hope this helps those who need it.

    Kandy is getting ready to push out the latest updated version of ITJ. I created a video below with a link to where to download the new AI boats in the video description. This link will also be added to the front-page of this forum when Kandy updates it. If I missed any instruction in the video or you have questions, please let me know. I cannot stress enough, only download what I said in the video. The entire mod is 3 gigs, and it is an older mod. From what people are saying, there are separate parts of the mod that are outdated and do not work anymore. They could conflict with ITJ. We have done a lot of testing with the 3 AI boats, and they work/look great in the mission. We feel it will bring another level of authenticity to the map without any performance hit.     @tobi @Eight Ball Tobi/Eight Ball, What are the chances of you two being interested in doing an earlier version of the Huey to go along with the Cayuse and Violentnomads upcoming Cobra? Back in late 2021 someone did a mod for DCS to simulate the Huey Hog and Heavy Hog and pulled off the standalone mod pretty well, but it does not work anymore or conflicts with other mods. We desperately need a Huey Hog/Heavy Hog for DCS. The current DCS Huey does not pull off this role. The Hog/Heavy Hog has a larger array of weapons and types of mounts for rockets and guns. We are totally missing the 40MM on the nose, the twin 60 mounts on the rail, and the older style rocket pods. I have attached the link to the old mod below so you can see the screen shots of what use to be out there. You guys have done such a fantastic job with the Cayuse, I thought I might make the suggestion for the older variant of the Huey. I know you guys would totally set the community on fire making on of these and maybe expanding on you Vietnam assets. I would love to see some more maritime craft for AI/Statics. We are about to push out our updated Into The Jungle mission utilizing you maritime pack. It has drastically improved the experience. Looking forward to what you gents have to say. I can speak for 3 of us, if you decided to take on this challenge, the boys and I would throw money your way to include purchasing a 3D model or whatever is needed to get underway. I would love to see another Vietnam helicopter out of you guys. Maybe even a heavy CH-53 or H-34. Look forward to your thoughts. Looks like the Cayuse might have had a 40MM launcher.     Let me talk to Kandy about this. He understands the scripts better than me for sure. Just for reference, are you running this online through an ED server or are you using a dedicated server? I have flown the Huey a lot and have to admit crashed a lot as well without having this issue. We can dig into it and see what might be causing it.

    Lengthy Feb update as to where we are and where we would like to go. Showing off some new additions and some updates based on feedback. Really enjoying making this come alive with the team and providing a rewarding experience to the community. In the next update, you will be required to download a few more mods, but we felt it brought a deeper connection to the Vietnam feel. We figured most of you would be ok with this. More to come!
