  1. While tempting, you'd be modeling wildly different cockpits between a B-57A and B-57B. It could be a limiting factor for some, is all.
  2. I'd definitely be game for an F-80, F-84, or Vampire. Actually, want a real curve ball? Bolivian Shooting Stars. Their CT-133s (Canadair produced T-33s) were in service until August 2017 when they were replaced by Hongdu K-8s.
  3. As long as it had the capability to drop the ordinance, that's not a huge issue. As is the limited mission scope. Were that the case, we'd only be flying multirole and tactical fighters. We've already got aircraft with limited scopes and focused mission sets. We have demand for things like the F-117 and WWII heavies, as well. The B-58 isn't so different in that regard. The Canberra would be an interesting choice, you'd just have to pin down a singular variant. What variant chosen would be very hotly contested as it was an extremely successful aircraft, even being one of the few foreign designed combat aircraft accepted into post WWII US service. My own preferences would either want to see an early Canberra akin to what Commonwealth nations had or the B-57As that the Pakistan Air Force operated or the absolute insanity that was the B-57G Tropic Moon III.
  4. For most bombers, but this is a more unique case. Late in the Hustler's career (owing to advances in Soviet high altitude air defense), their crews found themselves performing much the same mission as the modern USAF B-1B as they had had to now go low and fast. That really curtailed its effective range for obvious reasons. We're also talking a career on the shorter side, from 1960 until 1970. It was replaced by the F-111. So of all the 4 engine bombers the US has flown, the Hustler might work on our maps.
  5. So, here's a question: Weapons. AGM-45A Shrike fins instantly snap to actuated position - added actuator model Does this extend to the AGM-45's flight model or just cosmetic? Does the AGM-45's flight model take that kind of bang-bang actuation into account?
  6. Yeah, it's not on the update servers yet. You're not alone.
  7. Our keyboards right now
  8. I'd want to glass a few cities in such a case, too.
  9. The last operator in Europe would be the Hellenic Air Force, just a bit out of the way, but perhaps not out of the question. Most Thunderstreak operators retired their last examples in the 70s, but the Greeks buck that trend and retire them in '91. I'm also assuming these are RF-84F Thunderflashes and not the fighter-bomber Thunderstreak. I'd certainly be game to run low altitude fast recon missions in the 80s with one, but my question would be this: This is the Cold War gone hot scenario. How many Euro operators would be willing and able to take Thunderstreaks out of storage to plug holes in operational capacities? Basically, how man EuroStreaks got scrapped the moment they got pulled from service and how many got put into storage? That's what would be curious to find.
  10. They're about the same level of fidelity of non-player aircraft in the PS2 Ace Combats. They're truly hideous.
  11. By and large, I agree. But DLAA works pretty well. It's pretty sharp image wise and not much ghosting.
  12. That's how we all do it anyways. Pick things up as they go. I'm actually debating grabbing the 339 since it's on sale right now.
  13. Yeah, dive into those things you find interesting. You don't need to buy 'everything'.
  14. Yes. Hahaha, YES!
  15. My heart skipped a beat, too.
  16. Correct, in anglophone circles, "zip your lips" is a firm way to tell someone to be quiet.
  17. Gotcha, best I can ask for. Thanks, bro.
  18. So, literally, 2 weeks.
  19. Not what I asked. I phrased it badly, my mistake. Can we expect them to stay that way for the foreseeable future?
  20. So, now the question should be which mark of Super Hornet would provide the most distinct experience. I'd want to see something more than a Lot 20 Super Hornet that's just our existing Bug with new hardware behind the pilot.
  21. For us, totally. For someone with the resources and willingness to give us Russian aircraft? Not so sure. This could be disconcerting to someone like that. Though, it is curious that it only effects the rotary winged and not fixed.
  22. I'd like to second this, can us non-Russian customers be given assurances we can still purchase these?
  23. Mangusta confirmed.
  24. I'd be very skeptical about said article since those were Ryan Firebees. Those things are the size of 172s. The little Dragonfly lacks the ground clearance. I'm not even sure the tip tanks are removeable. Also, some OA-37 moto stuff:
