  1. What needs to be true for Player Exports to be turned back On in the server? When I was with the 104th I did a bunch of legwork consolidating info from dev’s to prove out that this option only allows ownship exports and introduces no risk of cheating, so I’m curious why it’s turned off in this server? The main drawback for me is that my JetSeat SE doesn’t work, which kills immersion for me in dogfighting [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I believe he was referencing the RWR symbology being projected onto the HUD, like in the Harrier. So totally different feature than what Wags was showing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Perfect, I’ll be using that method to mount mine on my WSP as well until I get the tub for my cockpit built. Very simple, I love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. haha I was just making light of what I assume is a frustrating situation for many owners. I've traded many emails with Milan, he is an outstanding guy and is dedicated to making his customers happy. I am sure he will eventually get these rolled out, he seems to have been working on it for quite a while so hopefully it's close. My guess is he hit a couple challenges or pivots along the way.
  5. Copy that, thanks for the info. Am I correct in saying there is still hope for this to be added then, once you get the support you need?
  6. Anyone else getting no effect for the “Engine Rumble” in the Hornet? I get it for all other jets, but nothing for the Hornet. The only thing engine related I feel in the Hornet is the afterburner. Not sure if it’s just missing at the moment or if I’ve screwed something up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Throttletek F-18 throttle Wouldn’t be too concerned, that’s how it is in the real thing too...just wrapped in nylon.
  8. VR Cockpit Agreed it should be standard [emoji1303] And not to worry on the VKB...I actually preferred the VPC for its improved ability to handle the weight of the Warthog grip (or other future metal grips with that type of heft), I just hated the pain in the ass the mounting mechanism would cause. Eventually it just seemed more reasonable to fashion some type of mounting solution than to continue sitting around waiting on VKB. Two trusted friends on mine that have both said to go VPC...so that also helped to get me over the hump. Edit: I ended up being able to pick up a VKB Gunfighter Pro + MCG Pro earlier this week (got in early on their limited stock to the NA store as soon as it went live), but shortly after ordering I decided to cancel my order. No desire for the base anymore, I believe the VPC will be best for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. JetSeat SE from Andre is currently on backorder, I believe. See this thread for details: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3531779#post3531779 See my signature, it is a Steelcase Leap V2 chair: https://store.steelcase.com/seating/office-chairs/leap Black with platinum base The other guy got you the dimensions but I've seen some people use thick Plexiglas to act as an adapter and that seemed to have worked well. I am sure if it's feasible for you, a think piece of sturdy metal would work even better. In any case, should be pretty easy to fashion something to do the trick
  10. It it tough to pin down an exact amount as there are both puts and takes on the cost. On one hand I am adding customization (increasing his build COGS) and on the other I am providing my own materials for the majority of the switches (reducing COGS). Here is what I can tell you, the stock price for the base model with pots is $950. My base price is $1000 (plus it is written in that I will provide said switches via mail). DHL Shipping is still the same at $150 and there is still the same $50 Paypal fee charge. So totaled up mine is $1200 versus the regular $1150... But I am sending him > $300 worth of Otto switches (my choice, because I want very high quality parts with great feel), so all in I am looking to be just a hair north of $1500  If Roberto was providing all of the materials (switches and toggle) himself, I don't know what the price would be as I never asked...but I assume there would be a markup over the $1200 total I've listed above.
  11. A lot of us do our best not to constantly b*tch and moan to you guys, because we know you get enough of it, but since you're apparently asking for it here...I'll weigh in. Add one to be count of people who see a glaring need for drastic improvement in MP stability. I'll spare you the long winded details, etc, as I am sure others will have covered my complaints previously...but I haven't seen any "complaints" that I didn't agree with.
  12. Oh and I forgot to add in my post above...less excitingly, I ordered a Virpil (VPC) MT-50 base to replace the Warthog base. I got tired of waiting on VKB to figure their stock issues out (it's been 6+ months of waiting at this point) and I decided that I simply cannot support a company that is operated and ran as poorly as theirs is by investing in any of their products. I will be using the VPC base in combination with my 15cm black Sahaj extension and the TM Warthog grip. When available for purchase I will also add a TM F/A-18 Hornet grip to my collection for usage on my Hornet and Harrier flights. Thanks, sir! o7
  13. Made a pretty big investment today in improving the VR cockpit and came to an agreement with Roberto at Throttletek.... As I mentioned above I had been working on terms for a deal to make a Throttletek Hornet throttle. Last night I placed my order for a custom Throttletek F/A-18C throttle, built with Hall sensors (instead of the standard Pots that usually come with this throttle). To eliminate any risk of the buttons not functioning as I want them to, I have purchased all of the switches and buttons to be placed in to the throttle during it's construction myself. I elected to go with all authentic Otto brand mil-spec switches (see post above for details), the same brand as the ones used in the real throttles. Roberto will be provided the TDC and antenna elevation wheel for me as I did not source those myself. Lastly, I have also supplied a Honeywell MS27719-21-1 On-Off-On 3-way toggle switch for the Master Exterior Lights toggle on the outboard side of the throttle. The build is expected to be ready to ship approx. mid-October. Pictures of the mapping with parts listed:
  14. It's vertical position/size looks to be accurate IMO (see attached photo from the Legacy Hornet cockpit), the actual part that your fingers rest on is just thinner than what is in the real thing. I am going to ask Roberto about seeing if I can have this made a bit wider...good call out.
  15. Throttletek F-18 throttle I just placed my order for a custom Throttletek F/A-18C throttle, built with Hall sensors (instead of the standard Pots that usually come with this throttle). This is a considered a custom order. 16. Just pay the extra $200 and get the Slaws
  17. Jesus man how many times do people need to say it? Yes, you can still do this as literally nothing changes with the idle end of the throttle. Not a single thing changes on that end of the throttle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This should be a great one to watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Question regarding Thrustmaster Warthog throttle and idle/afterburner detent. The same way you do without it, the aftermarket part has zero impact on the Idle portion of the throttle axis. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Better start working on a new wife before the Tomcat drops then, by the sound of things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. FYI you can start SSA while already mid flight in DCS and it’ll kick on...no need to restart DCS [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Lol pretty hilarious how much the tone can change once baby has his bottle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
