  2. in one sense i kinda don't care how long it takes - look, they give us "early access" in the old days we had no choice - we had to just wait - when it was done, it was done - deal with it these modules are hard - they take time ---- cold hard truth of life #74

    F-15E?

i think this is the best argument for permanent/non-removable CFTs i've seen yet

    F-15E?

are you also asking ED to replicate the avionics suites of isreali and singaporean (sp?) aircraft?? or do you just want their exteriors?? #Realism

    those are not strike eagles

    F-15E?

i keep seeing ppl requesting to be able to remove the CFTs i get it - the strike eagle has bigger engines - so you want a bigger better eagle - there might be one or two pictures floating on the internet pipe dream - never gonna happen.... (what's that meme? mean girls? "quit trying to make it happen - its never gonna happen?") ((pps.. you might be surprised how few strike eagles actually have the bigger engines))

oh absolutely - going all the way back to the first models... but you just have to manage it like any other module - you think the A-10 is *fully* represented in the sim? you think the A-10 in DCS is a 1:1 replication of the real-world?? it is not every module is going to be that way - just do the same for the C-model that's all i'm saying ED has all the source material they need - they've had it for a long time
  13. probably referring to expanded mode

    F-15E?

both ----- i "know" we're getting a full-up E i'm advocating for a full-up C A-G is easier so more ppl are going to want it (ground targets don't move) - to be effective, to gain mastery, in air-to-air... takes dedication, cultivation of technique, etc - its a hard-earned skill i would expect fewer ppl would favor or prefer the C-model since it has a PFM, its already "got some love" so the c-model goes to the end of the line (unfortunately) i retain hope and optimism that it is ED's vision to have wall-to-wall end-to-end DCS level aircraft
  15. i'm sure its only a matter of time - especially considering it is being phased out of service (ps.. "quite some countries" --- besides UK, who else flies it?) --- Royal Air Force Italian Air Force German Air Force Royal Saudi Air Force 4 countries
  16. why not BOTH?!? ^^the right answer^^ we're going to need both to flesh out an airwing strike package - might as well put them both on the list...
  17. "yet" (( crossing fingers they can make it happen.... someday ))
  18. gotta admit... with ED putting sooooo much work in to the A-G radar (HOW LONG has it been the reason the hornet was delayed??), i'm super curious how its going to look all the features listed are amazing in their own right talk about an electric jet!

but we also wont have a "guy in back" independently keeping a lookout and reporting where los banditos are orrrrrrr.... we'll have omniscient instantly-seeing seeing-through-the-aircraft-frame AI reporting with divine perfection all threats #unrealistic *shrug*
  23. isn't there a "transparency" control in SRS?
  24. for the purposes of IR missiles, i think its been said that DCS only considers afterburner status, mil power, or idle in other words.. it doesn't matter if you're at full burner, or min burner, if you're in burner, its all the same or, if you're at idle, you have a minimum heat signature if you're not at idle, and not in burner, you might as well be at mil power the "resolution" of your heat signature is very "rough" if i recall correctly...
