TACAN is broken since I was started flying F-5 in NTTR, I told this couple of times on this forum. It randomly stops working and freezes. Then re-tune it and it starts working. In the past I reported this issue, they asked me to send .trk file and I did, they said they will track this issue. Yesterday I was flying F-5 in Caucaus following TACAN 67X, I saw that it froze at 75NM, I quickly reset it and suddenly saw that I was already 45NM. F-5 TACAN is currently broken and not reliable. Please solve this...

I was recently watching F-18 solo aerobatic show. Whistle sound was really the only thing you could hear while descending at idle power with gentle turns. The engines made so much noise while applying full power that it made some snow fall from roofs.

Going to Landing signal officer view in SU-33 gives very strange gray colored corrupt textures.

+1 A bit roll movement in the head rotates the cloud significantly. Its not nice..

When setting the unit's waypoint actions: Perform command (task) -> Set frequency menu The box label is "MHz" but in fact it works as kHz, I confirmed this. If you need MHz you need to put 3 more zeros.

Word of the day is loaded manually to the radio preset ch20, time of day is received by keeping the knob in T position. T is spring loaded knob option for momentary usage. Simply put: You never need them.

What are these options for? ps: I checked the manual already. I even checked the real F-5 manual and its not mentioned.

Well, I'm not trying to be constructive I just said my opinion. I also do not humiliate any player or team, everybody can lose SA and its just normal. If I broke someone's motivation I apologize for that.

Don't get me wrong but this time both teams had weak SA this week. Could have been tougher fight. One problem from viewer side was the lag or bug I'm not sure. Freezes happened and sometimes missiles were hitting their targets but in the map view they were seen as still they were few kilometers away.

I have flown 7 missions in MiG-15 and DCS 1.5 and it was perfect enjoyment. I now wait for DCS 2.5 to settle down then I will continue. Very nice story, not so difficult missions, good documentation, studies before missions, surprising events. All good!

Those who claim that Russian missiles are too good probably haven't flown in SU-27 or SU-33 seriously. Try flying 10+ serious AA missions to have better idea about its strengths and weaknesses.

I fly 30m above the sea with or without jammer it locks me and shoots from 85km... Chaffs have no effect, (I flown 20 times against F-14 and dropped chaffs and never seen any effect) I try to beam, and nothing breaks the lock. Well if you want to believe that the current AIM-54B model and F-14 radar model is reasonable, fine I have nothing to say. Looks like they had better radars and missiles in 1981 than today's.

Yes but how can an F-14 radar lock me from 90km distance while my jammer is on.. I would understand if I were to fly IL-78 but it is SU-33. Even today's radars can hardly get lock above that distance. I'm not a missile or aviation expert, but I wonder why would they drop so powerful missile if it was so good in real life.

Check that there is no obstacle between Oculus sensor and the headset. Check that your sensor does not point to somewhere very irrelevant.

I have been flying the first 20 missions of Heavy Sky campaign. I like it so much. I have complaints about current F-14s. Sometimes I faced multiple F-14s and I can say that AIM-54 missile is currently SO powerful. It is like AIM-120D. In SU-33 you don't get RWR warning until the missile is ~5-10km away from you and F-14s will launch it from 85km distance!! Jamming does not help at all, I confirmed this many times. If the F-14 happens to lose the lock on you, missile goes balistic and when it relocks, missile turns to you again :megalol: I hope they fix these when F-14 module is out. Currently AI F-14 with AIM-54 is way more dangerous than AI F-18 with AIM120. All my AI wingmen gets shot in few minutes...

I sometimes use VR device, but sometimes I don't for video recording or taking screenshots etc. I use lower settings for VR than what I would use normally. It would be nice to define user saveable settings and load them while switching. Or make one setting that always comes with VR enabled, the other setting comes when you start without VR.

Thanks to the organizers, it is a great joy to follow this event. Sadly I could not fly this year but I'm watching offline streams. F-15s are the currently the best aircraft, but I love SU-27s. Thumbs up for 51st with such efficient use of red birds. It was great learning to watch moltar's cockpit stream.

The F4 camera can be rotated but its orbit is centered on the aircraft. I want the F2 only with the fact that it does rotate with the aircraft. My son wants to fly from outside view but I don't want to manually rotate the camera with the mouse wherever he flies to...

How to make the F2 camera heading follow the aircraft heading? I mean, when the aircraft heading/pitch/roll changes I want that the camera angle stays constant to aircraft.

SU-33 is going to be a good rival on carrier platform. Is the SU-33 going to get R-77 by the time F-18 is out? I really wish that you add R-77 to SU-33. Otherwise I'm sure that we will see that AIM-120 restricted from MP servers and tournaments.

Well there are so many variants of AIM-120C and it has been continuously improved... Hard to answer or criticize anything. Let's wait the F-18 and trust in DCS, I bet they will/do a lot of research on this.
