  1. Currently ground refueling only fills the internal tanks. It would be nice to continue filling up the externals too. Rearming no effect on external tanks. Only if you remove the external tanks first, and the rearm for a second time, then they come full.
  2. I tried to bomb a bunker on Tunb Island in PG map. I tried 2 times delivering a pair on GBU-10s. Both time they missed about 50 meters. GBU-12s worked fine. I don't know if this is an elevation related problem with the map, or is there some problem with GBU-10/TGP. ps: Yes I fire the laser and keep it pressed all the way until the impact, without the TGP getting masked. Confirmed that "L" was flashing and no problem with laser code.
  3. Problem is that with cbu97s I clearly experienced that tgp location was different from the location shown on the hud ccrp. Which one should I rely on? Maybe some of you guys dropped ccrp with or without tgp and had good shot. That does not mean every weapon works everytime correctly. I should try to reproduce that once I am on PC.
  4. Yesterday I noticed that tgp and hud ccrp shows slightly different locations on mp server. Might be due to the wind. Not sure what it should be in real life
  5. At last we are soon going to get something useful to kill from distance. Regarding this article: http://www.f-16.net/f-16_armament_article4.html we will be able to kill SA-6 from high altitude with good speed.
  6. I agree with that. If the map does not strictly need to be rectangular, then some more portion of the north-west should be added. Overall, it looks good even if the map stays the same, its an insta buy for me. It is the first ED map that blueforce will be separated by land. (NATO + IL vs SYR + RUS vs ISIS vs YPG) The coalitions and the factions relations are very complicated. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" rule does not apply here :)
  7. I tried to reduce the volume of the sidewinder but the volume does not go down. Only if you go all the way until silent, then the sound is gone at once.
  8. Rudder is pretty ineffective just above 50 knots. Still you get good chance of crash if there is crosswind. This isnt the solution. It isnt just our lack of skill. Try landing with some crosswind with some rudder applied. Below 100kts your rudder is ineffective, while you are trying to keep the nose in the center with a lot of rudder; and switch on the NWS: Boom you crashed.. Because this was too little rudder for non-NWS steering and it was too much for NWS steering. This needs and overhaul for sure.
  9. Having 3xGBU-12s on the wings (total 6), I dropped 4 of them in single mode and one remained in each wing. Then going to stores jettison page, I see 2 bombs on the left side and 0 on the right; which is in fact wrong.
  10. At speeds above 50 kts, a slight diversion of the nose suddenly becomes avalance effect. Trying to do corrections usually ends up unstable yav and the airplane tends to keep its momentum, no matter where the nose is pointing resulting in a wingtip scratch on the ground.
  11. I do not mean gunpowder smoke, the smoke or trails or humidity (whatever it is), that the bullets create while on its path.
  12. While going very fast and low, try shoothing the guns. The smokes go straight but the bullets fall down just under it, hitting the ground. You can clearly see that the bullets will fall down in front of you while the traces seem like the bullets are going forward. It is more than just cosmetic issue, it is deception. Better to test it with unlimited ammo.

Also another bug is that, when you have entered a new steerpoint coordinates and then switch to TGP via CCRP, then you move the Sensor Point of Interest, the STPT coordinates are overwritten and lost. Normally this should be temporary movement and you should be able to restore the original location by using TMS down.
  14. TGP is so bright that EVERYTHING is white. I tried fiddling with MFD brightness but doesnt help
  15. Now I will try to learn more about WWII aircraft and maybe switch myself to that era this year.
  16. I was flying F-16 on Buddy Spike server in PG. I usually see 49 spike on the RWR and I checked it was Perry class ship. This ship is able to send missile but the ship and its missile is just invisible. Am I missing something here? I checked the sea was totally empty. The Perry class ship is something big, so nothing that you can miss. I got shot many times by a ghost ship while searching it, to employ some GBUs.
  17. 2 months and still this very critical problem exists... Hey but we will have Supercarrier in EA soon. So guys; forget the Viper and get your pockets ready for another fantastic module from ED.
  18. There is a switch that points the nose up/down 3 degrees for easy takeoff. If you press the alternative weapon release button on the ground, the switch goes back and lowers the nose. Not a big issue but my 6 year old kid found this bug :lol:
  19. Thank you ED! However one bug in sales: If you buy SA342 Gazelle, it is 37.5$ but buying the 4 helicopter bundle is 35$ :D So there was no point to limit the SA342 discount to 25%.
  20. Select AG mode, choose CCRP from SMS page and open up the TGP page, let's say that currently selected steerpoint is 2. You see steerpoint 2 on the TGP screen. You now choose steerpoint 3 or 4 whatever. The HSD and DED screens show that steerpoints are changed, but TGP and HUD diamond stays still. Going back to NAV, changing steerpoints and coming back to AG mode is the solution.
  21. I have flown a mission starting from cold start. Sometimes the steerpoints are somehow corrupt after takeoff (or maybe even before takeoff, I'm not sure). On HSD screen of the MFCD, the steerpoints are shown and you can switch from one to another, but on the HUD the diamond stays on the horizon both in NAV and AG modes. Not possible to target any steerpoints using TGP. Tadpole and distance info are also corrupt. Quitting the mission and restarting helps. I am sure that I do the INS alignment correctly and after 1.5 I set it to NAV. Waiting for DTC to be implemented...
  22. I have experienced this error as well. I confirm this bug. Especially if you do some rolls during your flight, go around the airfield, it is possible that the ILS/TACAN system shows strange things. When you need to track left it will tell you track right or with up/down (glideslope) its the same issue. I was down on glideslope and it tells me to go down even further, down until so that the ILS signal is lost... Tested airfield was Vaziani RWY 310. I am sure that my ILS freq and TACAN bands were set correctly. I guess The ILS bug should be fixed ASAP because it is one of those instruments that you MUST rely on. I am using the latest openbeta as of 28.01.2020, today. Similar thing also existed in F-5E. I filled bug reports, it still is not fixed. Many people at that time reported the same.
