    Pilot Body

To all folks worried about the "huge" impact could cause in your frame rate, let me tell you: That body contains no more than 2000 triangles and 5MB of textures. That's insignificant in today's GPUs!! @GergeLKMT: I'm sorry, 3 big ass red arrows aren't enough to help me find the option ...hahahaha
  2. Please upload all the images of your Su-27 cockpit to another image hosting site. Imageshack ****ed me up too...
  3. I'm going to start building my first homemade cockpit and I want it to be a F-16C Block 50 but I would like to be certain that soon I could be flying with DCS: F-16 and not only Falcon BMS. DCS: F-16 really needs to be a thing!

    HB Wags!

Happy Birthday, Wags! I wish you a great day and a quick development on the DCS F/A-18C :D.
  5. Leave the AI stuff to ED only. Having other developers introduce new AI behaviour will only result in more bugs. I'm pretty sure ED is aware that a modern plane combat tactics are different to a WWII's and they would probably have a patch in mind
  6. I own the X-55 and even though is behaving well I will be replacing it with the Warthog very soon. I need a HOTAS that looks like a real one for the cockpit I'm building and for the availability of more hats and switches. I wish I had bought it instead of the X-55...
  7. I think he compares FC to COD for the mamny iterations of these games. FC counts 3 versions now and here the comparison. Now having a full DCS module with ASM is not just clickable cockpits. ASM is as real as it gets simulating full navigation and targeting functions. ie: the F-15C is PFM but implementing a clickable cockpit doesn't make it ASM since it doesn't simulate IFF, Countermeasures and weapons systems correctly
  8. Because you need those two hats and the mouse nipple to be used as the China hat, Boat switch and the slew control. As you can see there aren't even enough hats on the X-55 throttle since you still need to bind the Coolie hat and the Mic switch. In my case, I'm using the rocker switch and the two buttons on the front of the throttle as a Coolie hat. That's a big turn off in this HOTAS setup and what really pisses me off is that this setup is supposed to be a step up from the X-65F which indeed has the hats we miss in the x-55 The dual stage trigger is not a big deal for me as the lack of rnpugh hats
  9. If you're upgrading from a x-52 I honestly recommend you the X-55. Even the joystick feels and looks better but you're gonna need to grease and align the shaft collar (the one that is pushd down by the springs) to avoid a sticktion problem that comes out of the box. If you think of it as a cheap alternative to the warthog you are wrong since the joystick lacks the CMS hat and you may be regretting your purchase... Otherwise, this HOTAS is greatly recomended
  10. Right...that's why I'm sick of the P-51. Almost everyone at the IPMS where I go to build it. My vote went to the BF-109. I think it's a beautiful plane. Its straight lines and boxy appearance makes it look badass more like a tank
  11. Hahahhahaha...pwned!
  12. Beautiful setup. The screens look just the right size. What are their full specs?
  13. What a deceive... When I saw this vídeo yesterday in the russian forums I thought it was from the official Hornet DCS module
  14. Wow....bloody awesome...! can't wait for this to be released!
  15. Wow... Maverick and Goose! just that the short guy is the WSO and not the pilot :megalol:
  16. LeatherNeck staff, I really admire your customer service. You pay very much attention to the feedback and working hard to solve all the bugs reported. Now with these bugs list made by MiG experts you have the opportunity to iron them out and offer the best MiG-21 simulation ever
  17. I don't want a pilot body either. It will block some gauges and switches.
  18. F-16!! F-16!! We need a DCS F-16!
  19. You can always pain it but remember to prime it first or the black paint will flake off easily
  20. Did you come out with a solution by yourself after all these 3 years?
  21. Online petition for a Falcon module in DCS World https://www.change.org/p/digital-combat-simulator-create-an-f-16-module# 50 signatures so far. I hope to get plenty from here
  22. Great! I will buy my MiG-21 module as soon as this update is released. Those bugs reported so far have been holding me off from buying
  23. You have come with a great idea. That's the real solution. No stupid lights or hats on your head without the problem or interference with other ligh sources. No isolation of the real world with VR headsets without having to dump your home build pit. Very neat...
  24. Would love to see this bird in DCS
