  1. My understanding is that applies to modern variants. The FC3 jets are all sev one late 80s if that tech. the weapons and radar are already modeled. I'm certain the A-10A is partially coded, as it shares a ton of systems with the A-10C.
  2. Need i say more. Its a level bomber, a dive bomber, and a torpedo bomber.
  3. No way. After the war we extensively tested all of the German aircraft. I'm certain there is plenty of info to work with. At the time the warbirds were pet projects. Now there is an actual effort being made to recreate the 1944ish air war. And for that the G-6 is it.
  4. I for the life of me will never understand the logic behind making the K-4. It was barely in production on D Day, and honestly it was barely produced, at least comparatively. The G-6 on the other hand was defiantly serving in numbers on D Day, and was the most produced version. ED made an A-8 so pleas guys make a G-6.
  5. I would honestly pay full price, and would damn sure pay the difference, for a full fidelity module of and, and all FC3 jets. For those of us that started with LOMAC, it sucks to have to fly the simplified versions of the birds we fell in love with. Plus thous red air jets saw use all over the world. So as the title says Make them clickable, and give them there systems please. Also some of us like the older jets. I would much rather fly the A-10A then the C, and that F-15C was truly awesome. Having the Mig-29G would be a ton of fun as well.
  6. I don't think there enough +1s for this. My understanding is the mod was going to be a module, but the licensing agreement fell through, and they just relished the work they had done as a mod. It wold be awesome if one of the established teams could buy what has been done, and get the licensing. Just dog fighting F-14s over Nevada would be worth the money.
  7. Good idea, and to could use it to road block an improvised airfield.
  8. To the OP, Hornet. It just gives you more options. I love the Harrier, but the Hornet is a one stop shop. It can do it all.
  9. Not going to happen.
  10. Also yeah the B-1B would be ****ing awesome. But I think it would be a bit too ambitious. I don't buy the map is too small argument. And it is one of the best close air support aircraft we have. But 4 crew stations, swing wing, and 4 engines, plus train following radar, air to ground radar, TGP, and multiple bomb bays each with a different weapon. That would take years of development. Time that can be used on something else, something more people will buy. So maybe in five years. But there are other things the developers can spend there time on now.
  11. SU-24, that's my guess. Its Soviet/Russian, its complex, it's two sweat, it can kill a carrier, it's a pure bomber. If I was ED, and I wanted to do something truly different, that's what I would do. It should be old enough to not get them into to much trouble.
  12. +1 for sure. Flying the ISR birds would be like watching paint dry. But an ows station would be a welcome addition. And needed in multi player. I would buy it.
  13. That’s basically how I used to do it. My max was 60, and min was 40. I think that pretty well simulated the human eyes ability to focus, without giving me super human eyesight. Just seems like something that should be setable.
  14. Agreed, again. Plus they have RWR and chaff flare, so they can go up against the more modern jets in the sim. Even though I prefer the late Cold War, the jets from this era make good second ter fighters for the modern birds. Man I hope these guys kill it with this one. It’s been my most wanted since I got the Cat.
  15. As much as I would love to see rag doll, I’m worried it would take up to much processing power. But at the same time newer and better death and distraction effects would be a welcome addition. Trucks flipping from blast effects, turrets blowing off tanks, ships braking up, and the random infantry men going flying would make videos so much more interesting. Plus I would be cool to see it up close in game.
  16. Well we now have working subs in DCS. Plus it can do refueling, and some air to ground. I suspect I would fly it often. It, an A-7E, and the Cat would fill out a Forstall’s deck pretty well.
  17. Totally off topic but yes it’s definitely closer to a Desert storm era Huey, and it needs its RWR. I honestly hope someday ED sees fit to finish it, I am hopeful.
  18. I’m sorry but I disagree. It needs to be the mid to late 80’s models to be paired with the Cat. With HARM and CM it will be able to cover the Cats from SAM threats, and with its bomb lode it will give the Cat something to escort, and protect. They were symbiotic, and the modules need to be as well. Without this relationship I fear this will flop. At the moment the Cat is redundant, and a little out of time, as it was at the end. But in its hay day it covered the sky, and the SLUF covered the dirt. There is one really good example of this in an engagement with Libya. I think this module is dependent on the Cat for its success. Which is good for the developer because the Cat is one of the most successful DCS modules ever.
  19. Oh thank god, I had given up. I hope they get it right, and do it justice. This is probably my most wanted aircraft for DCS. With it and the Cat I think my Hornet my get a little dusty.
  20. Yeah, I’m there now and compared to how it was it’s super chill. When your deployed there you don’t really have time to enjoy the nice parts. Plus in 2009-2011 the new Cadillacs were just being built, so you did get 5 minute showers in a crappy trailer, no indoor plumbing, and a cramped room in a trailer that you shared with your off shift counter part. Of cores you worked 14 hours a day so you were rearly there. And on the back side you spent some time in the tents, which I honestly preferred over the trailers anyway. But it was the ass hole E7s that I hated the most. One of my fondest memories here is being screamed at because the back of my PT shirt had come untucked while I was running on a tread mill in CC’s shitty ass gym, it was over a hundred degrees in the gym. BPC is a relative Paradise by comparison. It was just being finished in 2011 when I was last here. Now this place looks more like a permanent base, and the airman even hive indoor plumbing in the double stacks, there spoiled.
  21. Huge, it’s the recreation area.
  22. Man the op really made me want this thing. DCS really needs some more dedicated ground attackers, and there’s a real desire for dedicated bombers. Honestly I think only Heat Blur could pull this off, and it seems right up there ally. So here’s to hoping.
