  1. Thanks for the clear explanation. Even though (I think) I know how to drop LGB's your explanation is one of the best.
  2. Absolutely great. A must have....:pilotfly:
  3. Thanks. Subscribed
  4. Thanks OP , very nice info. Very very impressive. Bing actually found something. :D Nice pic.
  5. I hope this project comes to full fruition. I wish them good luck and perseverance.
  6. What DCS version are you using? What mission is this happening in? Does this happen everytime or sometimes or rarely? Do you have random failures enables? Are you 100% that you have no conflicting keybinds? Could you provide a track please?
  7. Good point. I would also like to see them tweaked. I would venture to guess that the lights can be tweaked via modding?
  8. That would be the Mission Editor.
  9. I am a hapoy subscriber of your channel and I want to go to Las Vegas :smilewink:
  10. Thank you, and now my mirrors also work .
  11. Despite some effort ~1h I am unable to get this to work with the newest 1.5.1 version. Folder structure has been checked thrice. The original "english" folder in ..\Liveries\Cockpit_ka-50 has been renamed and replaced with the folder from the mod I have tried it with NATIVE and ENGLISH avionics language. I'll continue trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Anyone else having similar issues?
  12. Disclaimer: please do activate your sarcasm and humor sensors before reading Come on guys (and girls) please stop complimenting this module so much. I have succesfully resisted the urge to buy this for about 2months but my efforts are undermined continously by stellar reviews and excellent experiences by users. I still have to master the Kamov and the Hip and a few other modules and oh, yes I should also try to maintain a facade of proper human interactions and not lock my self in my ManCave trying to learn this beauty.
  13. Thank you very much. Your fix corrected it. Good job. Now post something so I can give you some rep for this. :P
  14. Jumping out from a perfectly good airplane requires a mental fortitude that I would like to posses. I salute you good sir. I really like the idea of a transport/ cargo plane in DCS.
  15. A very promising start, looking good. I for one would welcome a transport/utility plane. I wish you good luck and strong will on this project. Can't wait for more updates from you.
  16. Gallery 4k install: Copy to [..]\DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries\A10C and load up in ME. If you want a version without pilot/techsarg name, flag and noseart rename the "..no_name_no_flag_no_sideart-a.dds" to plain "...-a.dds". This will give just empty triangles onto which you can add your own callsign with a photoeditor. Credits: The base model for this skin was the 122nd FW Blacksnakes skin by Tom Weiss. 17. Excellent news. Indeed , the difference is amazing.
  18. Thanks for the advice on how to fix this. Worked for me.
  19. Does this behaviour afflict version 1.2.16 also?
  20. Thank you, very much appreciated.
  21. Holy mother of .... :bounce: This "Vuichard Recovery"-technique really deserves a short educational video in DCS Reading the article and after practicing literally 10 minutes in the Mi-8 I am now able to recover from VRS in less than 20-40m of altitude loss after initiation of this recovery procedure. Of course the recovery procedure is reversed in the Mi-8 (left cyclic - climb power collective - right pedal) but it works :smartass::thumbup: Great find Vlerkies. Here, have some rep.
  22. May I ask what do you mean with the underlined tip? How does one aim with the outer ring? :helpsmilie: Great tips - thanks for sharing
  23. Awesome flying , mind boggling gunnery:worthy: . Nicely edited videos with hilarious music. Good job. Subscribed
  24. Just wanted to say a big thanks. I just completed the BAQ which gave me a good 30+ hours worth of excellent gameplay in the A10C. Money well spent . Moving on now to Advanced. THanks p.s. Do you have any plans for similar campaigns for the Ka-50 or the upcoming F-18C?
  25. You are correct about that average. Although as I understood the hard deck limit was only in effect in the early stages of the operation. Additionally I would argue that a plain rounds/sortie is not really a solid way to asses whether a weapon is a "secondary" or "primary". It depends on the allocated task , targets, expected threats and so on. Some would argue that the AGM-65 was the main weapon but about 4800 AGM-65 were shot in the whole operation by A-10's. Making the average 0.6 Mavericks per mission. Someone might say that that isn't a lot. Estimates are that around ~90% of the total (~5300) Mavericks launched during Gulf War were by A10's. I am slightly going off-topic here but I am confused about the expense part you are referring to. According to a plethora of sources the A10-C is one of the cheapest planes as a unit and including its "ownership" cost (operation cost/hour).
