Yes, bring on the maps indeed. I'd easily pay that money for some of them and pick up some others on sale. But i sure do not hope that we loose new players becuase of the bigger "leap" you need to do. I have already seen that happen in other games, and i'd not like to se dcs go that way. About motorsport, have you ever played iRacing? Well that game is an example of a very good sim, but fails to effectively get new costumers to stay because of the money that you need to spend to get started. (outside of mazda cup) What server do you run btw? you guys do combat? Maybe this is going offtopic? I believe it started becuase we were happy about how LN might bundle them with the planes or something..

I do not think anyone here has been complaining about the maps? What is being discussed however, is what kind of split we might see in the community. It will only get harder to bring new people to the game when they hear that they'll need x amounts of maps to play with their buddies on missions. The troublesome part is that normally if somebody im flying with does not have an aircraft, then he gets something else to fly with us and still enjoy the mission. With maps everyone needs tho have the same. And honestly, i really do like NTTR, but for combat i just feel the georgia map is so much better. Im still unsure if the x-plane mesh im using is better or not, but i do hope for better terrain towards the outer bits of nevada.. Future looks interesting indeed.

It's not that i don't want to pay for maps, and i think the price for nevada is fine for now. However, some of us will not be able to buy all new maps in the future if they are all going to be 50$. Untill now i have bought almost everything there is, but with more aircraft and terrain coming i think i will have to decide between what i really want, and what to skip.

I know at least that when i started with dcs, it took several months before i realized all the stuff that was being worked on. i think more people would be interested in the game if the knew what was being worked on. Of course that might bring some pressure, but having a general roadmap that has no dates or anything would be nice. just so we have a clear idea instead of referring to several newsletters.

I'd like to see some kind of roadmap aswell. I think ED does a decent job already, but it would be nice to know where the sim is headed, and whats coming up. Most of the stuff for the near future has already been up on the newsletters etc. but it would be nice to see what the planned order would be. (plans can change, go figure..)

I doubt that ED will do an f-14 when LNS is already doing it..

I do it by feel.. i come in with a steep glide approach (holding IAS 210), and just before threshold i level out to touchdown on the double lines practicly every time. With some practice it really isnt that hard to do presice engine-out landings.

personally.. yes and no.. I would welcome GA aircraft, but i do not give a damn about airliners in dcs.. i have both fsx and x-plane for that.. i play Digital Combat Simulator for combat..

Is there a possibility we could get different skins on each side? That would help alot for planes like the mig-21 and especially the mirage right now..

Sure, but personally i have had enough of f-16, f-15 etc.. give me som new exiting planes that we have not played yet! love the mirage, and im really happy leatherneck chose the viggen. I feel like a su-24 or something would not be too useless in dcs, but that's my opinion anyways..

Question.. Why does the mirage not lock to the centre of the diamond on the ground? when i try to select a target on the ground i have to put the reticle somewhere between the centre and the top of the diamond to get get it perfectly centered on the target.. Hard to explain, i tried my best..
