Loved the MiG-21 campaign! I have one question, will this work in multiplayer (co-op)?

Warthog Extencion Cable Fix Because of how it is designed, all twisting, pushing, pulling happens at the connections between the cable and the connectors. so after x amount of cycles the solder joints will be ripped off. My fix was simply to Disassemble (to get the outer shell off will need some force, you might want to find a way to stretch it a bit. It is quite elastic. [ame=http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/670/md-515791.pdf]http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/670/md-515791.pdf[/ame] Re-solder, and cut the insulation away so that the cables can twist and bend the whole way instead of doing it at the solder joints. If you are doing this, then i would also reccommend replacing the cable with a better one. Don't let this make you hesitate though! its and awesome adition to the warthog, and i will never fly without it!

EDIT: haha, as i have been fooling around with it a bit, and found out how to open it (no, not by using a saw..) it seems like i have managed to rip off all the wires! :D Now to find that old solder i knew i had somewhere..

The pins are all fine, however, the connectors can rotate on the cable so i think one of the wires may have been disconnected from one of the connectors.

Purchased one of the 10cm extensions for my warthog and i am very happy with it! The only slight issue is that i tightened it a tiny bit too much on the base, and i don't want to force twist on the gimbal so i will have to live with it there unti'll i decide to take the base apart for a cleanup and re-grease. EDIT: For some reason my buttons do not work anymore!! could it be my extension cable? The only thing that works is the trigger, and it triggers all the buttons at the same time.

So with the new gimbal you will not feel the "crossing of axes"? will it feel more like the warthog?

Thy could make a more "realistic" mission, but it is completely up to them.. Yes, i think i would have liked a "classical scenario" better, but i see no problem with the current one. and i definately think that suggestion you made for the F-14 would be... interesting..

Read what the mission description says, and then read what you respond with. As said in the mission, it is not based on reality.

Well... from what i've heard the AWACS and stuff is bugged for ALL planes. That's why you won't see too much of it. In addition the MiG-21 does not currently have a good opponent, and so PvP missions will be rare ;) By best advice is to find some buddys to play with and do a multiplayer co-op. It was great fun flying the dynamic campaign with some friends in the MiG-21 :)

1. No i don't agree. I would love a MiG-23! 2. I agree, they should not develop russian plains! They should focus on their planes! EDIT: Seriously.. I think they did a great job with the MiG-21, and i think they plan on improving it further in the future. Remember that warning about it being a "beta" product? Yes, development is a thing, and it will take some time.

Well, at least it's good to hear that if ED fixes it, you guys are ready to re-enable it :)

I bet 100 rubles that it is a swept-wing MiG-25 with a ground radar and thrust vectoring/reverse. I blame Igor if it isn't.

What about having AWACS on the server? Would definately help the su-27's out alot..

I vote for less scratches! It looks like somebody washed my canopy with sand-paper. Some scratches are ok, but not this many.

My list would be (more realistic list, not the absolute wish) 1. MiG-23 2. MiG-25 3. Su-24 4. Su-22

So far this seems to only happen to planes from ED. Have had no issues in the MiG-21. I hope for a fix, if not this might be the end of any kind of formation flying.

Well... lets face it.. He's significant, you are not.. thats why people care (and he has also done hints with his avatar before..) Personally i think its a mind game ;) They are hiding something, but only giving us hints so we can be hyped. Genious really..

Agreed. Id buy the heck out of the MiG-23 too, but i definately think a MiG-25 could add some more challenge in multiplayer. Remember, in a multiplayer cenario it's not always 1v1 ;) I susppect a MiG-25 working together with planes like the MiG-29 could be quite effective. But you are right, a MiG-23 should probably be higher priority :)
