People who live because of turns won't understand the purpose of the MiG-25. It's getting rediculous.. Why can't we just agree that planes have different advantages and disadvantages, and flown to their strenghts they can all be lethal. I can already think of several tactics in a MiG-25 that could work against the F-15 as well as tacrics for the F-15 vs. MiG-25..

IT'S ALIVE! My thread is alive!! Seriously though, it's nice to see that a fair amount of people are interested in the aircraft :)

Hi, last week my right toe brake on my rudder pedals stopped working. It simply shows it as stuck on 0. This week, my yaw axis started to get messed up... It generally works fine, but sometimes when i move around the center it will switch to full right and to fix it i have to just move them around a bit. This obviously makes coordinated and formation flying a bit hard :D I think the right toe brake might just be a broken wire, but the yaw pot bight be broken.. Is it possible to replace the pot with a new one? In worst case i only need the yaw to work.. Thanks..

i can give you 3000 roubles if they sink some more.. is that enough for a pre-alpha? :D (it also seems as though the number is incorrect, sir. You fool me to throw my money into nothingness?)

Thanks guys, coming along better now. My try at a Pilatus B-4-pc11 (see profile) :D Question: Wing is made as a separate object, Am i supposed to actually "attach" it to the Fuselage object? and yes.. my smoothing is screwed up right now... :pilotfly:

Thank you for helping me out :)

Just going to add.. As me and a friend were flying the L-39 the first day it was out we did some formation in straight and level flight. My friend went slot, and every time he would get close my plane started shaking violently around, but to me it didn't really feel like a stall..

I don't know if it's already been said, but during testing i found this (just didn't get around to post it straight away) Flying at VNE in zero wind, pull straight up until just before the yellow marker on the speedometer (just a reference, ok? it can be done at different speeds). keep full throttle still, and try to pull over the top... in some circumstances the aircraft will start to push the nose up and all the way over the top to where you just left off, but in opposite direction. the whole thing should be quite clean, wings level, and pulling full elevator through the whole thing. sometimes it will also start it, even though you are clearly heading down towards earth with a significant angle.. (not random, just some times it's hard to do it right (or wrong.. whatever you'd like to call it) this will NOT happen if you let of the power.. Being a glider pilot i could possibly not understand the physics of thrust, but is it that because of a negative thrust angle? i don't know, but does that not seem a bit weird that a tiny bit of thrust angle would flip the whole thing around perfectly like that? the engine doesn't have THAT much power after all..

I would apply for tester if you'd need one :P gorgeous model! keep going!

I did land it though.. I screwed my landing gear at the time of this picture, but i got back at it against a wall in a new plane and started doing touch and go's ;) gotta practise that rudder control you know :P

I'm guessing this campaign is messed up after 1.5 :/ -
What hardware would you recommend right now as a minimum for a good experience?

I'd like a copy of NTTR. Thank you, you are doing a great thing for the community ;) -
You guys are all wrong. Especially that Cobra guy... :noexpression: This is what Leatherneck are working on! No promise.. The Yak-15! A jet with a tailweel!? And the La-176 believed to be the first soviet aircraft to break:megalol: mach 1. This is my dream... well... not really.. please bring all soviet aircraft :D Although these two has to be my favorites ;) EDIT: if you did not get it when i said then please go and read about the La-176 ;)

Well... I sure hope they have modeled the surrender mode properly! It would not be very french without it ;) If you ever wonder what button it is, just look for the button that is most worn out :P Pls dont kill me.. :(

Alright. yes. Pretty much this. Should not have started that arguement, it did not serve much purpose. Sorry.

Yes im sure this would be the result when you put it like that. Just like the f-15 should win over the mirage 99% of the time. Thing is.. People already kill f-15's in the mig.. What makes the mirage better, or as good as the f-15 vs. the mig-21? Surely it would be easier to deal with..
-
Any source? Or just something you guessed right now? If both aircraft were flown by equal computers, then possibly that would be the outcome. I fly the p-51 against another p-51.. The outcome will not always be 50/50 Edit: but yes, of course the mirage would have the advantage ofc..

That is true, however it might be a little bit easier in some situations because of the more limited radar and missiles over the su-27 and the f-15... My opinion about what is a cadillac, and what isn't probably differs from yours a bit...
