I very much disagree that the warthog is the best option nowadays. VKB or Virpil is the direction you probably want to go... only thing about that is nether has a throttle yet.

There is beta firmware that fixes it, but I am waiting for it's full release. So...it should be fixed soon.

Makes sense. As much as I wanted an F4... it won't make near as much as an F16.

There hasn't been a patch to address this yet, the most recent patch was just moving open beta to stable. The next open beta patch (we suspect next week) is supposed to address this.

Looking forward to the dedicated server news this weekend. I think the dedicated server has been talked about for almost a decade now, it will be nice to get news on it finally. Thanks for all the info Wags!

Well, most people just don't post about it because we know ED is aware and working on it. We just deal with it.

100% GPU is a good thing, you want your GPU working hard. Even with your graphical options turned low your GPU will just render more frames, it will still work at 100% of it's ability.

So I made a mistake on one of my missions and forgot to assign a client slot... so I just let the AI do it's thing... I watched as my KA50 flew right into the engagement range of the ground targets without ever shooting at them, it took damage then wobbled back to base. The rest of my strike package didn't engage, just went back home and landed. I suspect this is more an issue with ED's AI programming than this campaign though?

As someone that plays mostly MP with his friends I agree. I know ED has a LOT on it's plate right now but this is very important to a lot of the community.

Sorta like flying a helicopter... you have to react to what it is about to do instead of what it is currently doing.

Are you hitting your brakes? That's what it sounds like.... you aren't supposed to touch them at all and let the wire pull you back a bit.

No other missions or multiplayer sessions crash for me, but this one is pretty consistent after 15 min or so. This is modified to be MP but it happens to me in SP too. No prob man, I know you guys are busy as hell. Just looking for a super rough estimate to see if I want to hold off on things like desk mounts and how long I will have to suffer with this T1600 throttle. :)

Trying to think of how to phrase my question without asking for timelines... but what do you think would be an extremely rough timeframe for the throttle and the mounts? Is this 2019 range? Or 2019+ would you say?

Part of the problem is that you are technically complaining about somebody else's product. SSA is free, f4l0 makes no money off of it, with the exception of donations. And complaining the way you are is going to do nothing positive, in fact he could just say he isn't working on his program any more if he wanted to. It's fine asking for help to try and get it working, it's another to act like a jerk to try and get your problem resolved. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=134704&page=214 is the thread where you would want to raise the concerns of your "$200 paperweight" as you put it.
