  1. I would post on the vkb tech support forum, something sounds screwed up.
  2. Do you use a powered USB hub? I wonder if that makes a difference?
  3. Hmmm, as someone that used to have the problem and doesn't anymore... you say you are on the latest software but what about firmware? You have to flash your firmware.
  4. Funny timing, I had just asked on reddit why we didn't have a declare command... I never needed it in the F15 or any other plane so I never even knew it was in DCS until I wanted it for the hornet and found out it isn't implemented.
  5. I suspect that IFF isn't reliable enough in even real life to be the end all be all (ED has even marked this as the request wouldn't be accurate). What would really help is a declare function with AWACS.
  6. Hopefully I didn't miss it but... are you running DCS on an SSD? If not I HIGHLY recommend it. I also suggest you stop using tools to "refresh/clean" your PC... Windows 10 doesn't like it and it seems almost every strange issue I read on the windows10 subreddit ends up being someone that runs these tools. I used to use them myself on older window versions... but I suggest not using them with 10.
  7. As far as lethality rings... I hit up Jello from the fighter pilot podcast when the hornet was going through the same questions, he stated that it changed several times during his time in the F18. That is why there was confusion with the hornet and I assume why there is the back and forth on the harrier as well.
  8. Never fly with labels because I don't want to get used to depending on them. If I flew more in VR I might...
  9. Some real Veruca Salts in this thread.. jeeze.
  10. Awesome! Here's to hoping all the pain (financially, mentally, etc) is all worth it for you all in the end. :) Can't wait!
  11. Someone shouldn't be buying Early Access products. ;)
  12. I didn't think it could point track anything yet?
  13. Normally that's how it is supposed to work... but I would not be the least bit surprised if this gets pushed to stable.
  14. "Quick google searches" are not even worth bringing up in conversations like this. You have to have access to information that sometimes isn't easy to get or even understand.
  15. Not Official but this guy knows his stuff: AIM-7 Family AIM-7M Now has the new APN guidance laws code implimented Now has the new AIM-7H FM, although has a much higher Cl value so will be able to pull more g at lower speeds. Will ask why Has a very shallow loft code implemented. Will start at targets greater than 6km, will terminate when target is within 5km. Angle of 0.1 radians to the horizon. I don't know how much you'll even really notice this or how much of an impact something this shallow will have on range AIM-7H - No change, did not get the new PN laws, has the same Cl value it had previously. AIM-9 Family All apart from the 9X - No Change AIM-9X Counter Measure Susceptibility reduced from 0.3 to 0.2 - Seeker head view angle increased to 1.1 (I can't remember what it was before)- New APN guidance law code implemented - (Still waiting on revised FM code) Changed how the thrust vectoring variable works. Used to be a binary on/off (more or less). Is now a specific additional g loading - Set to 10. AMRAAM Family AIM-120B - Now has the new APN guidance laws code implemented AIM-120C - Now has the new APN guidance laws code implemented R-27 Alamo Family No Change R-73 - Changed how the thrust vectoring variable works. Used to be a binary on/off (more or less). Is now a specific additional g loading - Set to 5. R-77 - No Change
  16. Those are some fantastic cows though.
  17. They are going to ask you for crash logs, please attach them.
  18. I'd say there is a good 50% chance we get a patch today.
  19. Absolutely, I was stunned at how big aircraft are in VR, especially the F15 when compared to the F5 (what I was flying at the time). The other funny thing is how small cockpits actually, on a screen they seem huge, in VR they look pretty small and cramped, which is how they really are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FV_-joIM8A
  20. Watching nabpp's stream he had fuel on his jet, did a repair, then requested fuel again which doubled up his fuel, he also got the warning L and R fuel hot message. Go to 3:42:58 in to see the fuel counter, video should show you the steps to reproduce:
  21. Were we really expecting it any sooner? Until it really starts showing up in newsletters it's going to be a loooong way off.
  22. Aside from the WW2 asset pack... it dawned on me that there isn't really any high altitude AAA in DCS. It would be more challenging to have to perform SEAD if we had flak going off all around us. Edit: Actually, nevermind... looks like it's on the list: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3459145&postcount=13328
