  1. Yep, I experienced that when we got on the MP server after it had been up for over an hour, couldn't get the carrier TACAN even when close by.
  2. Also noticing this. MK-83s. Had 2 on each pylon for a total of 8, and they kept dropping in pairs or sometimes 3s.
  3. Your idea would work better than how things are currently. I know it's impossible for ED to adjust for all setups but there has to be a better way than it is now. Sometimes even things like contrails don't show up until I zoom in then they pop in (but that is a different thing entirely I assume).
  4. The biggest concern for me is consistency, everybody should see things at the same distance the same way, no matter what that distance is.
  5. Hmmm, true. The point stands though that moving FC3 to the more realistic radar model would be good for "balance" in DCS... I hate using that word but in this case I think it fits.
  6. Everywhere, google search it. F14:
  7. Yea, it's due to sliding around on the carrier. It seems any change in weight really freaks it out.
  8. Nope (I know it says super hornet but all jets are the same as far as AOA indexer):
  9. Pimax 8k should fix that but it isn't out yet.
  10. Thanks Neo! Loving all the information, I am trying to soak it up like a sponge.
  11. This is a known and annoying issue with those sticks. What is normally suggested is a USB hub (since those have their own power supply). On my X55 that helps but I would still get "ghost presses" now and then. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BWF5U0M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There isn't a way to totally stop it that I am aware of.
  12. With the release of the hornet we are getting our first taste of what a realistic aircraft radar acts like. On servers that mix FC3/4 with Full Fidelity aircraft I could see the FC3/4 aircraft being a bit "overpowered" due to their magical radar. Is this something ED plans to address in the future or is FC3/4 always going to remain simple not only in terms of controls but also in how their systems (such as radar) work?
  13. Simshaker isn't running but it might be worth me uninstalling and reinstalling it. Crashed again during a refueling mission, attaching those as well. dcs.log-20180531-074612.zip
  14. Had just completed the F18C Aim 7 sparrow mission, landed and once I came to a stop it crashed. Logs attached. dcs.log-20180531-062650.zip
  15. I wonder how far out this throttle is... months? Years? I got a T1600 to hold me over... but I am starting to eye the warthog throttle.
  16. I am at work until 6 AM ET, no hornet until then! :)
  17. I took the rest of the week off after tonight (I work night shift). :D
  18. Been a follower of his since "Blueplz" in the World of Warcraft days. It's funny how someone you never knew in real life can impact you... but I have had a few online friends pass away and it hurts just as much as a real life friend passing away. RIP TotalBiscuit. :(
  19. Yea, I was a crew chief in the Airforce. :)
  20. Just a small nitpick.. he isn't a pilot is is more along the lines of a crew chief (hopefully that is an apt description).
  21. This may end up being a good bug then, hopefully they can remove the hud scratches along with the raindrops in one go.
  22. At work we do 4 10s.. so work days I don't play at all. On the weekends typically my buddies and I fly 8+ hours a week.
  23. I have that one and still can't see shit, lol.
