  1. Yea, once the VKB extension is back in stock I am going to be looking for a desk mount option as well... since VKB's isn't out yet I might clamp it to a virpil mount or splurge on a monstertech one.
  2. Correct, but there is a noticeable difference:
  3. Ehhh, not necessarily, it's the same reason you can see the difference on a 60 HZ monitor between 60 FPS and 100 FPS... they aren't totally in sync. Gsync helps a lot here because it syncs the GPU FPS to the monitor HZ. At least I think that's how it works, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
  4. I play with a AW3418DW, really nice monitor.
  5. Since this is a real case of OCD maybe you should seek treatment? Doesn't sound too severe but if it actually causing you anxiety it may be worth it.
  6. I keep the W (where the nose is pointed) at about 5 degrees... and use the throttle to keep the AOA indicator within the E bracket.
  7. Goes back to the radar being a WIP I would assume.
  8. http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/21790/f-a-18-pilot-gives-incredibly-detailed-instructions-on-how-to-actually-land-on-a-carrier Saw this on hoggit, pretty cool.
  9. This! Let ED decide what they think is worth coding and where priorities fall. Stop being argumentative just for the sake of it. This is a bugs forum not a conversation forum.
  10. The harrier is 100% worth it, and Razbam is dedicated to completing it, as was mentioned earlier we get updates often. Hell, I would suggest it even at full price.
  11. I wonder if this is more a case of how carriers prevent you from moving around on deck? It tends to make you want to stick to the deck...
  12. F-5E imo. Simple airplane and a lot of fun.
  13. Not only that but having your HUD info in your vision at all times while you are looking behind you helps with situational awareness... it's hard without VR and just using track IR to really know where your nose is pointed when you aren't looking forward... at least I have difficulty with it.
  14. Excellent! Thank you RD and HB!
  15. Just to throw my hat in the ring... myself and my wingmen have had similar experiences... right now the sparrow just isn't worth even taking, better to load up on heaters.
  16. Nobody knows yet from what I have read.
  17. Some good news:
  18. Since there is an NDA I am not sure how much the reviews right now can be trusted but I am a bit worried: The first comment was interesting: "Your issues may not be IPD-related, but focus-related, which is a big problem for HMDs with tilted screens and you might be more sensitive to it than the others. Palmer warned about it 5 years ago: https://www.mtbs3d.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=16434#p100503 "
  19. So I got a response from VKB on the random button press issue, their latest firmware (not yet released) solves the issue. So it should be fixed soon.
  20. Yep, did a fresh driver install with DDU, will report back if it happens again, probably next weekend.
  21. I modified the case 1 landing file and added 2 aircraft, had a buddy flying with me and the game crashed. Earlier flying my same modified mission I had a freeze in DCS that I had to kill the process and got no log files. Attached this crash log though, I suspect it's gonna be graphics drivers, so I am gonna do a fresh DDU reinstall of the drivers. dcs.log-20180618-085057.zip
  22. Done, hopefully this helps you all find the cause. :)
  23. Any update on the vkb firmware? I still have tons of button presses randomly until I restart the joystick.
  24. Toyota would love that! lol. They would probably have to rename it YotaTo or something. :D
  25. Post your crash dump files so ED can investigate the reason you are crashing.
