  1. Ok UIV.. got the multimeter. So, first I tried connecting the 3 cables from the stick directly to the base as seen in the below image and still got the flashing red light. In continuity mode I am getting a signal on each of the 3 wires with the stick connected to the base... so at least we know the connection from the base to the stick is good. If you have any other requests let me know. :)
  2. Oh I def understand. I should get the parts I need to take the stick apart today, if that doesn't help I will get in contact with Rrhode and work out the shipping info. I appreciate all the help. :)
  3. Apparently some dummy filed/sanded down the sensors so that is why tracking was all jacked up.
  4. Agree with Bearfoot. The fact that your KG12 is making the light go green tells us you are on the wrong firmware. This is because currently the firmware doesn't support both sticks.
  5. New firmware still set for today? Hoping that fixes my issue before I have to send it in.
  6. Cool, I have updated Rrohde via email anyway. Might just send it back since I don't have the stuff I need. I will work with Rrohde on where he wants it shipped, etc. Thanks!
  7. Ok, it will be a while though, I don't have a screwdriver long enough to get the last screw in the grip and I don't own a multimeter, so once I have those I will let you know.
  8. Ok, I reinstalled the KG12 grip and flashed the firmware back to an earlier version (_BlackBox_GF_v1_85_2). I am now seeing a green light on the blackbox. Going to try reflashing the newest firmware again... Edit: Flashed newest firmware and again the red flashing light on both grips. Question, am I supposed to be flashing the MCG-pro firmware or just MCG firmware? I have been doing MCG-Pro since that's the stick I have. Pretty sure this proves it isn't a physical issue?
  9. UIV, here is another with it totally apart so you can see everything better.
  10. Yea, actually I just noticed my KG12 stick isn't working either (it was earlier). The pins on the base itself are not in any way damaged or bent, and they are still springy. I had hit park controller at some point but since rebooted, does that have to be unset in some other way? Lights on the blackbox are blue by sys - green by bus - flashing red by stick See attached for screenshots.
  11. Everything is nice and tight. Edit: I can try taking the stick apart once I get permission, don't wanna mess with the warranty.
  12. I had the same issue as bearfoot. The only problem I am having now is the stick light keeps flashing red. I have reseated the stick multiple times and I am pretty sure it is seated properly... I sent in a support ticket.
  13. People are saying the H2o is flickering instead of just staying on. I had a weird issue where water didn't really provide me more power on in a mission earlier as well.
  14. Well, this might give you an excuse to go with one of the lovely VKB or Virpil systems. :D
  15. I dunno, a bottle of jack and a hammer could fix a toothache fast. :D I can't give you a reason that he posted there instead of a support ticket. ;)
  16. Well, he isn't my friend, I have no idea who he is. He isn't "shouting from the rooftops" he is asking for help there instead of the support system to see if anyone else had the issue. I will send your suggestion along and suggest he open a support ticket along with your possible solutions.
  17. It would be great to get this in DCS. My grandfather had 3000 hours in the super sabre... so flying what he spent so much time in would be pretty special for me.
  18. Seeing some mention of a possible flaw in some of the triggers. Apparently the circuit board can slip out of place. Temp fix
  19. Just hopped in the Harrier for a quick check... looks like it was updated.
  20. Mine still hasn't shipped out... hoping it does today.
  21. Windows updates generally happen silently in the background. You can check in your windows update settings.
  22. AI Suite only makes it super easy to overclock in the OS. You can still very easily overclock in the BIOS either using the simple BIOS tools or manually doing it if you know what you are doing.
  23. Got the new windows update... one program didn't like it, ASUS AI Suite. When I tried to reinstall AI Suite it caused all but 1 of my USB ports to stop working in Windows (they worked in BIOS). After lots of troubleshooting I finally retraced my steps and tried uninstalling AI Suite and it fixed everything. While the new update is VERY important (important enough for Microsoft to push this update ASAP) it could screw some things up. Edit: Some Anti-Virus programs are throwing up bluescreens too: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4072699/important-information-regarding-the-windows-security-updates-released
