  1. It's George... you expect stuff like that from him. :D
  2. Just a heads up... I do not believe SLI is supported in DCS? Personally I will never go SLI again (used to run two 980's) before I got a 1080ti.
  3. Yea, I have been doing it with the ship not moving due to the current bug... I think the ship moving would help out.

Well, I think what we are seeing here is a limitation of DCS, in real life a 25lb warhead is enough to shred a delicate radar system, but not destroy a vehicle... but since DCS doesn't have a great damage model it just destroys the target. Speaking of this, does the AI seem smarter to you all as far as shutting off the radar? They seem to wait until I am VERY close before hitting me with a lock, so while I kill one of them they also tend to shoot me down.
  5. I... I am stunned that it is 100% in game with no visual effects... wow.
  6. Ok, just had my best landing on the carrier.. seems like 82-83 works out perfect for me.
  7. No it isn't. Friday per Sith. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3313664&postcount=514
  8. Friday is planned per Sith, subject to change as always.
  9. Yea, I am going to try in VR as soon as 2.x version is released.
  10. He HAS to be using nozzle angle to slow down in those videos right? He doesn't pitch up at all that I can tell.
  11. I feel like I am cheating on the hog... I just can't get enough of the harrier. It's a fantastic module.
  12. So, I have been reading up on how to do a proper landing on the carrier. From what I gather: 5 miles out 50 degree nozzles, at 2 miles (call the ball) 60 degrees on nozzles, keeping your "witch hat" at 0 degrees on the HUD, at about .5 you move to hover stop which is 79 degrees on nozzles, and pitch up to 10 degrees to slow down (more AOA as needed?). This is probably a case of needing more practice but doing this properly isn't easy... the issue is mostly coming to a stop without gaining altitude. Earlier I was using nozzles to slow myself down, but that results in having to change thrust to compensate. 13. Touché sir.
  14. Woah woah... Sith he said "in the coming weeks". :D
  15. Nice!
  16. Thanks Rrohde, appreciate the response. Sorry if I am being a pest, just really looking forward to getting this thing, especially now with the harrier. :D
  17. So, I think there was some confusion earlier about the possibility of the delay from the 1st to the 15th was the twist adapter patent? Odd because that isn't what is shipping out. Edit: on this thread:
  18. We still looking good for a ship date of 12/15?
  19. Thing is... it IS used, a few people have said they use it.
  20. Formation lights on your jet will show up as on but clients do not see them as on.
  21. Having the option is never a bad thing, you generally don't want to remove options. I have never used it but that doesn't mean it doesn't help some people.
  22. I was a crew chief on these things for about 3 years or so. Just old as hell.
  23. I cannot wait for this weekend to get some more flying time in. Razbam.... you are awesome. :D
  24. Mirknir, thank you very much for the hard work you put in so that a bunch of us random internet folks have a fun place to go. Open Conflict was one of our (my friends and I) favorite servers. As I said before your personal health and enjoyment are more important. Hopefully one day you return reinvigorated once there are dedicated servers and the 2.5 merge. :)
