  1. As both hans & Donnn said When I moved from Win7 to 10 AFTER I imported DCS I then individually copied over the old configs & you need to do that for every module and device so it's lengthy and a bit of a PIA As hans states you'll have different UIDs for the same devices, so your devices will have different adresses For instance, using the A-10 as an example, in Win7 I have my joystick file name (in the folder Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\A-10C\joystick\) VKBSim Fat Mamba {6937C020-42A1-11e9-8012-444553540000}.diff.lua in Win10 it's VKBSim Fat Mamba {28D2C0D0-522C-11e9-800D-444553540000}.diff.lua So what I did was copied over the old file then renamed it to the new address. That's all you need to do, but you need to it for every device so it becomes a little tiring. However better that than having t remake all new configs for every device
  2. VR is in my future but I really know sod all about it. I looked at Sweviver's review and thought Wow!!! It looks a complete game changer for the reasons Der Hirte pointed out. I don't know why so many are negative about this headset, Green Cheese? From my perspective it's low volume so high cost but it will have high quallity components and be well put together, F1 race teams do not buy crap. Possibly where it really scores is Optics, anybody who knows anything about photography will tell you optics are more important than Megpixels when it comes to image clarity. I wish the OP good luck and wish I was wealthy enough to jump in without too much hand wringing. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I was in that position
  3. Voice Attack stores them within the program itself. However you can export a profile out of the program to somewhere else as a backup to share etc: etc: You use the + key symboll on the top line of the VA window, this will give you options to import export etc: Personally I just make a folder in VA and save backups in there
  4. Just getting better and better a download for sure (like all your skins)
  5. Yup Magnificent V Cool
  6. What I do and it works is, press ADD NEW to generate a duplicate command. Edit the duplicated phrase in the box to what you want. In your case "Vaziani1" to "Vaze" then hit APPLY then hit FINISH After that go do the copy thing in the profile, but I think you need to hit APPLY to make the database changes I know that works and Hollywood didn't point out the APPLY step in the You Tube Video on his latest update, so I can understand why you might be having prroblems Hope that helps, let us know if it works
  7. You can find a lot more outragous than that in Amazon for books. Seen $20 books advertized at 1000s because they are out of print. Guess there is money to be made if you are patient. To some $1k is loose change That's capitalism personnally even if I could afford to I wouldn't the fact I'm being taken for a ride/mug would just bother me
  8. I only used Excel as I don't have any CAD or other drawing packages, so I used Excel's rather limited drawing tools. I've completed several full motorcycle wiring diagrams with it, so this was reasonably easy. Anyway attached is the relevant Excel File I'd be really glad to see it taken on by people with better tools interested in pushing it forward some more, that would be great Also really pleased that somebody liked it and was getting some use from it. When you make something like this, most of the time you have no idea if anybody found it useful or not Caucasus Schematic.zip
  9. Twas me VZ342 I did a metric and imperial It was originally an Excel file as I recall & I'll still have it somewhere in the bowels of the computer. I think I called it a schematic map. Call it what you want, you have my full permission, I really like your updated version too  If you want the Excel files (probably a bit easier to work with) drop me a PM Due to me fouling up my sign ins, I'm Weegie on hear but Monument on the User Downloads
  10. Liking it Rick that looks great Hope you're planning to release it to us idiots who have no clue how to skin
  11. You know I am a huge fan of your skins and cannot even begin to appreciate the effort Cannot wait and the CONA skin looks "The Dogs" as we'd say here
  12. Is it possible to setup VAICOM for multiple DCS installs? I have both the Open Beta and Release installs on my computer and am currently only running VAICOM on the Open Beta. I was wondering if you set it up on each to download the luas and scripts to each would it work in both?
  13. Agent Wolf Awesome I never knew that existed, thank you, very useful in Aerobatics servers where Easy Comms is on
  14. Nobody else getting their radio frequency changing in FA-18C on connecting with a Tanker Easy Comms is on and I've tried in several servers, always the same. Tune to the correct frequency and then when initiating comms with the tanker the radio frequency changes by 1 or 2 MHz (up or down it seems random) I can still contact the tanker but in some cases I could not get a "clear contact" and get him to spool the hose When I switch off VAICOM I can do everything through the menu commands or my use my own VA profile without issue.
  15. These are AWESOME!!! JASDF are in a league of one when it comes to classy schemes I love them
  16. I had a weird one in the Aerobatics server in the Hornet, over the last couple of nights I could contact the tanker on 253.0, but when I tried to pre-contact I could not communicate and my radio would not stay on 253.0, always jumped to 255.0 and no matter how many times I retuned it would select 253.0 for just long enough for me to see the 253 on the scratchpad then immediately jump to 255 Exited out of Vaicom, made some rudimentary commands for the Comms menu and DCS and the server comms work fine, 99% sure VAICOM is the culprit Strange thing is in single player it works a treat
  17. Thanks Chic I'll drop my 4 profiles on later today, not that they are ground breaking in any way, but hope it might encourage others
  18. Hmmm Think you need somebody more advanced than me, there may be a way. The only thing I can think of is to disable plug ins in the settings that would most likely stop the text you see when you open VA. I reckon you'd still see that text as it's invoked via the plug in, even you deleted the Vaicom profile, as long as the plug in option is enabled. Although you see that text via the plug in I don't think it will do anything if the profile isn't active as VA doesn't have a list of commands to activate. I have yet to try that myself though. Why is it such an issue if you don't mind me asking?
  19. If you go into the Settings on VA, the spanner (or wrench in the President's English) and select it. In the General Tab there is an option to "Load Profile on Startup" and a blank selection box next to it Left Click on the arrow at the right of the box and a drop down list of the available profiles will be revealed. Select VAICOM PRO for DCS World and then the Vaicom profile will always load on VA start That is the way I have my VA setup too
  20. That took me a little while to get my head around but is really useful. I use numeric ranges in a few personal VA profiles and I didn't know you could use a multiplier this way. I'll start another thread but there have got be many useful clever commands/profiles out there in the community, I wonder if a place could be made to dump profiles or commands and form some sort of library, to help others and speed up profile generation? Anyway I'm OFF Topic Just wanted to say thanks Pfeil for the tip and thanks to Chic for the calculator
  21. Can you expand on that a little? Do you mean a master reset of the lua files in the VIACOM menu?
  22. If recording is enabled and you play the track in DCS then TACVIEW will make a recording of it to view in TACVIEW Hope that helps
  23. I had an issue recently too, where I wanted to swap profiles from Win 7 to 10 and vice versa (7 & 10 on different drives) The devices were all the same but all the addresses were screwed up, totally different. What I did and it worked fine for me, was to id the new device number and assign that number to the old device file. Just the file name nothing else. Once that's done then it all worked flawlessly and saved me a s**t load of time. Importing them in and then resaving takes forever by comparison Just change the file name to refelct the correct address that windows has assigned and BINGO!!
  24. Sounds fantastic thank you Give it a try later for sure
  25. Dutch Open the commannd profile and in there is a heading Extensioon pack, click on it and you'll see Chatter Double click on Chatter to see the setting, as I recall the defaults for toggling it On/Of is to say "Chatter" you can see if the command is recognised in the VA command window I think "0" also turns it on and off (which I disabled as it interfered with other commannds I use) You can also set it in the Plug in Window (LALT LCTL C) to default to Off in one of the menus
