  1. Thanks Guys very nice of you all to chip in No crosswind and I tried the mission with both engines mapped to just one axis on the throttle, no difference Axis controls show rudder centered and small stick movements. Either something has changed for me or I've just lost the knack. It seemed before that when refueling everything was a lot more stable, well as stable as it gets. It appears like drift or misalignment and no matter what I try I just cannot hold the aircraft on a stable track as the basket approaches, which I was able to do before and fairly recently too. Now I'm constantly having to correct left or right and that usually leads to PIO. I'm wondering if this might have something to do with lag in my system causing the problem as I need a new graphic card. If I could never do it before it wouldn't bother me so much but although far from easy I was refueling reasonably consistently, if painfully slowly. Now I cannot even get the probe into the basket. When/If I find out what the hell is going on I'll post up, in the meantime later I'll do a short vid and post up to YouTube Maybe somebody will have an idea where I'm now going so horribly wrong when I wasn't previously. Don't rule out the idiocy factor, it could well be just me being a complete clown Thanks again though for all the help it is very much appreciated John
  2. I'll be dammed if I know, I recal'd the throttle, even tried just using one axis for both, checked the rudder, both in a program and using the controls settings. Feet on the floor Everything is centered. Stick is bang on I'm using a VKB Got curves on the stick and rudder and a deadband on the rudder It's not a huge yaw just a gradual drift as I approach enough that I need to correct then it goes from bad to worse from there, I just cannot seem to line up and stay there. It feels like something has changed, but as nobody else seems to be seeing the problem it looks like it's exclusive to me
  3. I used to be able to A2A but recently I just cannot seem to get into the groove anymore, I seem to develop a yaw and then of course that usually results in PIO Just seem to have difficulty lining up, as I approach the nearer I get the more off line I appear to be It's so weird before I could approach and although far from 100% I was connecting perhaps 3 out of 4, now 1 in 10 (if I'm lucky)

  6. I'm just getting to grips with it. I've had the module for a long time but spent most of my time in warbirds For me the difficulties were/are you need to have everything going at once, Stick back for instance means collective down to maintain a given height, collective down results in having to reduce right rudder. When you are pinned to the VSI and having constant stick movement that's hard until "muscle memory" starts to kick in. Next is the ridiculously low sink rate to prevent VRS, you can recover from VRS at onset by applying more collective, but you must be quick. Apart from that the inertia of the large mass means make an input and wait, it will respond but not immediately, ignore that and you will be like a ballerina on speed and quickly get into the realms of PIO. Cyclic, Collective and Rudder all need to measured, usually small, and smooth I'm so glad I revisited this module it is just enormous fun and so so different from fixed wing. Waiting for the sale and thinking now about the Huey. Helos are tremendously satisfying but take a lot of practice, stick with it because when it just starts to gel you'll be laughing like a drain
  7. This is fantastic news I've been sitting on my hands, trying not to bother you because I so looking forward to these skins getting released They look absolutely amazing from the posted picture Thank You
  8. +1 me2
  9. Top one looking good & pleased you are trying the other variant Looking forward to either/both Thank you for your efforts Akatsuki
  10. Akatsuki I am interested how could I not be, the Japanese schemes are the best out there IMHO by some way Loving that skin too Texac, let's see if Akatsuki bites
  11. Ok it's the Kuznetsov but hopefully it will work for Stennis
  12. I am wearing out the F5 key here Seriously they look fantastic, it's a "must have" skin(s) for sure I maybe don't appreciate all the effort, as I'm clueless, but I am very grateful that you are making them, thank you very much
  13. I thought I was the only one I play in just cooking HD and it's just the same. For some reason I find that if you move your head forward the HUD becomes readable and fits on the glass, but if I move my head back the font seems to get bigger and all the info is no longer visible on the HUD Zooming doesn't seem to effect it but moving my head back makes it unreadable I hope it gets fixed soon
  14. Thank you I'm a BIG Fan of JASDF skins
  15. I have it, standard config, exactly as you have, executes for 0.1 seconds & it works fine for me I do run as Admin
  16. I'm sure most know but CombateFlite looks like it will be able to analyze the data, cannot wait for this to be revealed Thread here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=195724 Video here
  17. Looks amazing
  18. Thanks Again Yeah I think I got A2A pretty much down now, but it took a while and it's one of the hardest things I've being doing so far The tips though are appreciated because there are a few things in there I haven't being doing so I'm going to give them a try
  19. I do like that Although I could not skin if my life depended on it, I do appreciate when people make skins that are not the normal run of the mill Very nice
  20. Thank you sir I must have missed it in the manual as I did not see it, maybe need to check if I have the latest version of the manual Your taking the time is appreciated
  21. Cool Love all the JASDF & JMSDF skins got quite a few fot the F-15 great to see them being made for the F-18 too Thank you sir
  22. Looks terrific, similar sorta colors to the SU-33 Hi Viz skin request I asked for from skinners but has fallen on deaf ears. They are all too busy with this bird I guess Looking forward to a release really, really liking it thank you
  23. This skin was given to me by Bourrinopathe & it's one of my favorites It's for the SU-27 and I really like it & thank him twice once for creating it and twice for giving me access to it for my own use. I contacted him recently to ask if I could put it up on here and he kindly gave me permission to do so. I'm wondering if any skinners might be interested in making it for the SU-33, it's the general scheme I'm interested in. If it sported VVS, or Sukhoi markings I reckon that would be icing on the cake as it looks to me like a high viz test skin. Here is a picture of the SU-27 skin, if anybody is interested in making it PM me and I can pass across the SU-27 skin if that would help

    Thank you, Beautiful skin
  25. Can anybody help with some explanations I understand ASC stab and the probe extension switch but that's about all I know I'm specifically interested in the Annuciator Panel as I'd like to know what the lights are meant to be telling me
