  1. Tell that to Yo-Yo who modelled the K-4 after the G-6..
  2. They DO fire from 1 mile behind.. That they don't hit anything, that's a different story. But the 'mind set' of them is that they CAN inflict deadly damage from far away.
  3. Since you mentioned it.. Allied pilots, in DCS, are used to 'spray and pray' tactics from a mile behind the target, due to the 'paper plane' feeling of the german planes (bad damage model?? :/), that is, 1 hit engine dead, 1 hit wiggling, 1 hit from 6 o'clock pilot dead and so on. On the other hand, to be efficient in german planes you have to shoot the target from less than 100m, and from high deflection positions. Indeed, the 3cm is way under performing and that must be tackled correctly by ED in the new DM.
  4. I think we all started from here.. http://falcon.blu3wolf.com/Docs/Fighter%20Combat-Tactics%20and%20Maneuvering.pdf
  5. Pilot kill from dead 6 o'clock is here again.
  6. If you try to land with some damage taken, the wiggling makes the Dora take off @ 30kph and crash even with engine shut (magnetos off, fuel pumps off). Weird stuff..
  7. You forget the stick forces in DCS that don't allow you to pull or push the stick. You would need a lot of trimming when trying to turn hard, again.. in DCS. Sent from my Redmi 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Chasing it @600kph IAS @ sea level won't catch it.. :)
  9. in combat, you'll move faster than that, I betcha... :)
  10. No, not really. Watch it from 4:58 and see how fast he's operating the wheel, comparing to when he's preparing to land.
  11. Check out the up and down movement of the left shoulder. Looks faster than we have in DCS, clearly.
  12. If you watch the videos with the G-6 Red7, I think, you'll see how fast the pilot rotates the wheel..
  13. I took a single hit and the plane started to wiggle. My wingman did a visual check from outside and couldn't see the hit. Then I checked the scoring board of the LFDM server and, indeed, it registered a single .50 cal hit. I find it still a bit exaggerated though, especially after landing, when the plane is all over the place.
  14. It does seem quite slow in DCS, don't you think?
  15. Yeah, but how many degrees per second, in real life?
  16. Shaking is a bit reasonable after today's update. I also noticed that the 6 o'clock pilot kills are not happening anymore. So a big thumb up for the dev(s).
  17. Me neither after the last update..
  18. The gun trigger remains pressed if you shoot before arming it. As soon as you arm it and shoot, it keeps shooting. So at least this is what I've noticed.
  19. If you'd ask me it should be: first with two hands, because of the high speed hence the forces, then with one hand as the speed and forces are getting lower or it could continue with two hands but faster with pulling. Anyways, these high stick forces should occur after 700km/h not as low as 300km/h.
  20. So, please answer this, the pilot s pulling with one hand or with 2 hands?
  21. Watch this: First of all, check the controls graphics on the left side and monitor the pitch. Then check the maximum G you can pull @ the optimum corner speed for the 109 K-4 ~450km/h. We are not happy with these values for G. I pulled the stick all the way, but in the game there is this lag implemented as the 'stick forces'. So, is the pilot pulling with one hand or with 2 hands?
  22. You just don't want the stick forces to be changed because you're afraid.. that's all. You're afraid of how good the Bf will become, just as it was in the real life. If not, then you're just being blind to ignore the stick forces that begins to be felt at 250-300 km/h which is nowhere near real life data. Another question is how these forces are implemented. I mean, the virtual pilot is a handicapped one handed little girl that cannot pull 30kg, because this is how it is portrayed in DCS. At least we should have the possibility to pull with 2 hands if this is how ED wants it, WITH stupid stick forces.
