  1. http://media.heatblur.se/AIM-54.pdf
  2. Have you trimmed the aircraft? Trimming to 0 should have your stick relatively clear of the display, or at least not smashing into the display. That said I'm not using VR and it may well be just a bug with VR.
  3. I believe that if you have the beta option for DCS selected in Steam, that you will see the F-14 release today. It won't be on stable for a couple of weeks yet I imagine.
  4. It's a 387 page PDF manual and if you are using Chrome it seems to hit 4/5 of a download indicator rapidly and then crawls while it actually does open the manual PDF. The end download when you save it to your PC is about 245mb
  5. Looks and sounds amazing, this module isn't "fly an F-14" it's "The Tomcat Experience". Already 1730 here in Australia *taps foot impatiently*.
  6. Will be challenging trying to handle departures, about all i'm going to remember is; 100 knots and hands off controls until over 100 knots. Could make for some interesting experiences :P
  7. I love the Fighter Pilot Podcast, Jell-O is a great host, very informative, humble and clearly experienced. I've enjoyed Sunshine being added to the team and when you see their YouTube stuff Sunshines callsign is actually quite apt. The F-14 episode was great, Cosmo and SYFH were fantastic, they seem to epitomise Tomcat crews, highly entertaining and there was some great info on there regarding the 'Cat. The only let down was how Cosmo got his call sign, got to be pretty bad if he didn't want to reveal it lol
  8. Clearly the module is a labour of love for you guys and so far all the info shows it to be spectacular, can't wait to get my hands on the 'cat.
  9. Cobra + other Heatblur blokes, well done! If that list you have provided is things "missing" from EA release than you have clearly poured a tonne of effort and work into the myriad of other features. Like your prior works, Mig-21 as Leatherneck and of course the amazing Viggen, this module looks set to be the new leader in flight sim fidelity. It looks amazing, I know you guys are proud of your work, we fans are proud of you guys too! It's been a monumental task you have set yourself and everything simply looks grand. There are going to be a lot of happy fans on March 13th! Probably a bit of whinging too but whatever lol
  10. Anytime (March 13) baby!
  11. Sensational! going to get a lot of bang for our buck with this module.
  12. Rocket chair, the R.A.A.F banned theirs, or i guess under OH&S laws it was banned for them, too many spinal and other injuries.
  13. That would be cool. I vaguely remember something about the Viggen pre-purchase where your name could end up on an F-14 or something like that, that was a fair while ago though and I'm probably recalling incorrectly.
  14. Finally pulled the trigger, $102 AUD is hard to justify to my wife but based on the Viggen and the Mig-21 it's money well spent especially given the Tomcat is my favourite aircraft. I'm glad you guys had a link to redeeming coupons as there is no where to access a coupon option through my account otherwise - only a licensing section.
  15. Oh mate so hyped now lol
  16. Oh man.. Fights on! Weapons free!
  17. Was hoping for an F-111, but maybe getting an Intruder, that's not a bad deal at all.
  18. Holy crap! That was fantastic! *throws money at monitor*
  19. Haven't checked these forums in a while and BAM! pre-orders up! Better discuss with the Mrs first so I can explain where $100 has disappeared to lol.
  20. I kind of like the idea of the RIO commenting on acrobatic maneuvers. Given I spend most of my time playing singleplayer DCS, I would like the chatter :P
  21. F-14D! That would be amazing to fly. That said I am hyped for the F-14A and A+/B just to fly the unruly beast and experience those TF-30's as they were and the challenges they threw into the Tomcat experience. Edit: The F-14 A+/B for the better engine experience for comparison to the A.
  22. Check your email for an email from SendOwl Downloads - that should have the key in it. You may need to check your spam folders. Activate the key with DCS to get the module.
  23. Mine has yet to arrive either so I presume lost in transit. Do I need to email my details to Heatblur regarding my order number? I don't want a refund either that money is for Tomcat development (and other super secret projects that you guys are developing). The t-shirt is a nice bonus but it's not a deal breaker by any means.
  24. Haven't received mine either yet Cobra, but Auspost is not the fastest service in the world, particularly to where I live. Overseas items always take around 4-6 wks.
  25. Still waiting as well for mine :) Not stressed though, I live far away and in a more remote location of Australia so overseas mail always takes a fairly long time to arrive.
