  4. There is something definitely fishy going on with the Harrier. On the discord channel is all fine and cute as long as the chat is about "can i press action down for this..." or "here is a nice picture". If a more on the subject question pops up about the Harrier its almost guaranteed that it will result in an allergic reaction. Witnessed one just yesterday. And the question was raised in the most polite way possible, so no, the "you were rude , that's why you got what you got" line doesn't hold any water. Plus there is a strange pattern, if you look closely. Heavy debate about ASL behavior for months, asking for a fix -> Switches got updated. Never seen anybody to complain about switch behavior. Tpod broken for a year now -> we got Betty. 3D model has several issues in the front part (not even acknowledged by the dev team) -> what you will get? new textures for the joystick in the cockpit. So yes, work is ongoing on the module, but nothing essential, only cosmetics. Maybe somehow the Harrier code doesn't fit in the DCS world, and they need to wait until becomes possible? Maybe the early access was too...early?? This puts them between the hammer and anvil. Anyway, i dont't see it finished in the foreseen future. (God i hope, I'm wrong).
  5. Do you have any custom liveries installed? Remove them all and see if its working. It happened to me with the A-10 and the problem was an old skin.
  6. It might be a hardware thing...look into your new keyboard instructions, the keyboard should have a modifier key which switches the F1-12 keys function. On laptops this key is usually marked as Fn or Function key.
  7. Oh, my bad, for some reason i tend to consider my crew AI, lol. If you place a helo and select CAS (on the upper part) i think they shoot everything they see. If not, you can set it in the Advanced ( Waypoint actions) tab. "ADD" and you can select what you need.
  8. With leftWin+H open the little weapon window, you should see their status. If i remember well, leftctrl+3 and 4 sets the gunners. Edit: in the game, not the editor.
  9. I know two voices for it ...one is from Leslie Shook, its in the F-18 for sure. The other is from Kim Crow. I don't know which one is in the a-10.
  10. There is another thread with the same topic and something is very off with the cockpit-intakeedge-probe relation. I lined up horizontally the two images-dcs and real - (weatherwane tip and the tip of the very end of the plane). This was the image with the best angle from the side i could find. Look where the intake edge intersects the canopy. Look where the probe tip is in relation to the canopy. Compare the intake edge angle regarding to a vertical line on both. Either the cockpit is way too in front...or is something else, but its not accurate. And there was a third thread about these issues (with other discrepancies), but that was quickly deleted and considered "problem solved", so i don't have high hopes that this issues will ever be adresed.
  11. Just saw that yesterday and i couldn't figure out, from where the strange shadow comes...
  12. FOV and all that, but you are right...the trees are made bigger so the amount of them can be kept lower. There are older threads about this, there was even a mod to make them at a more natural size, but that results in the forests being not that dense.

    Sidearm Tone

    Its the top knob, but it seems to be buggy too, as the com menu tends to mute the sound, so the knob needs to be cranked again to get back the sound.
  14. thnx for link...yeah , that's the issue. But its strange, i was using this pedals (brakes) for a year now without this problem. The issue popped up just recently for me.
  15. After the first press, the brakes stays halfway pressed. In the axis page looks fine, no issue. Look at the pic, this without any brake pressure. Checked with multiple planes, all the same. Can somebody check if its my end or its DCS?

  19. You guys are missing the point. The question is not if it would make easier or harder the AAR, but if the probe position is accurate.
  20. It doesn't work like that. Have a look at this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=228898 . TLDR, QTY sets the ...quantity what it drops. MULT is not multiplier, but MULTiple.
  21. I don't think they can't. Razbam fixed the issue on their models in no time, so it can't be that bad. Who knows what are they waiting for.
  22. Tried your mission...everything was fine, no problems aligning. Maybe its your system? Try a repair.
  23. Multi doesn't makes anything without interval set. If you set QTY 4, Multi you can set anything you want, without interval set at the button press it will drop 4 at the same time. QTY 4, Multi 1, interval 100 it will drop one, after a 100 another one, after a 100 another and so on. QTY 4, Multi 2, interval 100 - will drop a pair, after a 100 another pair. If you want to avoid asymmetrical, set the QTY to an even number. This is how it works now. I have a vague memory, that at the beginning it was working like you said, but since then a lot changed and i think the guide was not updated.
