  1. Alright Bkthunder, I finally had some time to sit and try it out. I tried to replicate your parameters, all in landing configuration and in my experience there is a small difference in rate of descent, which however can be compensated (in SPS off situation) with about 5-10 % throttle advancement. Based on the manual there should also be about a 2 deg AoA decrease noticeable on the UUA but I couldnt observe that. However I could feel the greater tendency to fall (not sure if I'm using correct word here, but I hope you can follow). I'll try to search for better references for that. As for the %, well if it was 80 % than based on the manuals I have it is not correct, as system limitations are fairly well described in original document, thank you for reporting.
  2. I do not have any specific date yet. That's why its said, that it will be implemented when processed and adopted.
  3. It's in process of being adressed along with other sounds: http://leatherneck-sim.com/spring-awakening/
  4. Based on the documents we have right now, of which most recent one was released in March 1973, I'd expect a version closer to Vietnam War Era.
  5. It will come with updated cockpit in one package.
  6. I'm not sure we'd be able to sustain complains caused by that :)
  7. It's one of many references, this one was closest to our artist for a visit early on. Dont worry, we're also picking more pictures specific for later F-8 variants.
  8. Hey guys, it's finally time to post a Spring Update and address a few matter's. Hope you will enjoy it! http://leatherneck-sim.com/the-spring-awakening/
  9. Yeah, hardware doesnt tell me anything. Your logs and tracks can be found in your DCS Saved Games folder.
  10. Could you provide logs, track and additional information ? I've just created a custom mission over PG and tested it, for me all controls respond in full range.
  11. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but SPS operation is limited around 50 % of the RPM. According to Polish manual, during landing, throttle should not be pulled back to less than 50 - 52 % of its range due to SPS limiter. So regarding 2nd point, the 80 % range is not something I can relate to anything in manuals I have.
  12. I think his posting rights are revoked, so he can still use PMs. My only issue is that I was born too late to learn Russian in Polish schools, but too early to get decent English education. So had to work on latter one myself, with no need for former. Seems like that Russian would be handy this days though. If I could talk to Sarmatt with decent translation maybe we could get something interesting.
  13. I'm already in touch with Foxbat for almost a month now.
  14. We do. Since MiG-21bis is considered to be in service in Serbia, even though they dont fly them atm, not every document is available. Military services are fairly restrictive in that regard unless aircraft is trully out of service, which is a case in my country making it far easier to pick those documents. As for the latter question, knowledge of basic employment does not equal to memorizing technical documentation. Still, I'm trying my best in my free time to look for some rare documentation that could improve the systems.
  15. Visually ? Yes. As for functionality, I want it improved just as our coder wants, but first we need to locate more specific documentation which for a long time I could not find or obtain. Improvements require detailed documentation. Even last week I was at Military Technical Academy Library located in Warsaw to obtain following document: "Celowniki strzeleckie ASP-PFM-21, ASP-PFD-21 i ASP-PFM-7 : uzupełnienie do Opisu i eksploatacji celownika strzeleckiego ASP-PF-21". Unfortunately I only after arrival I was informed that documents have been thrown away many years ago since there was no interest in keeping them. Similar thing happened to multiple MiG-21bis manuals, RP-22SMA documents, etc. But I keep trying, both in Poland and abroad, to find materials and get them translated for our programmer.
  16. It's fixed in new cockpit version, fix will be delivered with it.
  17. Dont worry guys, we take all positive and negative input. Our coder is aware of gun sounds disappearance and is looking also into improving sounds.
  18. Checked. Confirmed. I've forwarded it to our guys.
  19. Keep the feedback coming guys. Its open beta, so that we can get your opinion and make further adjustments to your liking.
  20. I dont think it made it guys.
  21. Yes, we've sent Rudel to Chernobyl to get this radiation glow on the gauges. Rudel picked some of it too, you should see :)
  22. Tell that to all those guys who fought over Gulf of Tonkin and Hanoi against MiG-17s and MiG-21s.
  23. This is nice, but if you want to learn something, I prefer this:
  24. Link doesnt work Robert.
