  1. It leads to a thread "2.5.x openBeta Changelog". All updates are first released to Open Beta, not sure whats so surprising about that ...
  2. Hardware got powerful. Its time for the software to catch up and utilize resources properly. DCS, when it transitions to Vulkan some day, should make much better use of those cores.
  3. Pilotasso, can you make similar one showing just 2700X vs 3900X ? I'm very interested in ingame performance of 3900X vs 2700X and if it was an upgrade worth making.
  4. Juding by the posts on reddit and few other places people are really unhappy as chips cant reach advertised clocks under normal usage, which combined with BIOS issues, gives a messy launch. I feel like AMD may end up with a lawsuit from customers going after them for false advertising.

    Hotfix

If changes are not causing any unexpected issues, the update will make it to stable week after. See Eagle Dynamics update schedule for this.
  6. I think you should ask in section dedicated to Bf-109, not in server thread.
  7. The simplest option would be to increase number of spawn points to utilise nearby airfields. If you have one airfield for each side (I don't count krymsk with useless i16 which nobody flies, 2 P51s and couple Spitfires) it's obvious where people will fly. And AA no matter how strong, won't discourage from doing that. People will just keep waiting a bit further away. You don't want to be vulched than you should change airfield. But for that week need more active airfields instead of flying same horrible mission that remembers 2015.

    Hotfix

There is no reason for a hotfix. It will arrive with subsequent open beta update as all standard changes do.
  9. The increase in FPS in DCS is what interests me the most, cant wait to see that one mate. As for chiplets binning. If thats the case what're saying, than well that is a shady practice. Their selling high end chip with only half of it being really high end and able to reach maximum clocks, while rest is akin to a mid or low range piece.
  10. (I'm sorry. I couldn't resist myself)
  11. Sharpening filter works only with specific games, not sure if it will work with DCS. Though yes, it would be neat thing.
  12. Ohh, I have 2700X too. Tell me please, once you swap it, what you did. Most folks say there is no need to reinstall windows. Just upgrade BIOS, uninstall chipset drivers, swap cpu, fire up the pc and install chipset drivers. But some suggest its better to make a fresh install. My 3900X is supposed to arrive in early September. I kinda envy those in better supplied countries.
  13. Alright, I will bring this to Rudels attention Davey.
  14. Yes, I can report the same. Had a 4 hour online session (Burning Skies server) and throughout entire session I had microstutters. FPS is normally around 90 - 95 FPS, but with microstutter FPS drops for just a split sec to 50-30. This is noticeable even with G-sync on. I'm not sure what to do since my settings are already tuned for high FPS and medium quality and its not really FPS issue, since it stays normally around the upper limit. However microstutters are a huge issue online, especially when it comes to shooting.
  15. SO I have a question regarding disconnects. I see its now visible in stats ? Does that affect score ?
  16. I dont know. It only means I saw them and picked quite a few souvenirs along with taking 200+ pictures of them :)
  17. Yes, been there, seen that: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3984100&postcount=15817
  18. Yes, ASUS is consistently overvolting my 2700X. I wish I could see typical voltages seen on MSI or Gigabyte boards.
  19. It's safe. AMD stated that Ryzen (that was in case of 2xxx) series is designed to handle such voltages and it's just different from Intel. I think a lot of people make simple mistake of applying their approach from Intel cpu to AMD one when the two have very different arch. My 2700X is well cooled with AIO and despite voltages reaching 1.52 V it stays below 75 - 80 deg at all times while boosting on most cores beyond 4.352 Ghz and some reaching 4.397 to 4.402 Ghz. And that's mostly with default settings. With 3xxx series I've read that it's best to let cpu do its own thing and not mess around. I'm waiting for ASUS to deliver Bios with new AGESA and then will pick 3900X.
  20. April's update on our website: http://leatherneck-sim.com/2019/04/24/the-spring-awakening/ Whenever cockpit is ready. I hope I will be able to bring more information on that soon.
  21. It's already been stated that all light issues will be adressed in the upcoming cockpit update.
  22. Yes guys, thanks for the report. I've forwarded it to the devs.
  23. I play at that res. I have 1080Ti.
  24. During my trip in Japan, I've visited a couple museums, namely Yūshūkan Museum in Tokio, Aichi Museum of Flight, Kure Maritime Museum in Kure and Shiden Kai Museum in Ainan-no (Ehime). I've shot plenty of pictures with my phone and a couple with a camera, so here are the latter ones:
  25. Yup, same here. Crash every 30-40 min. It's very unstable today.
