  1. Yes, it tends to dig itself into softer ground. We are aware of that.
  2. Well, plenty of eye squinting and leaning to my monitor. I prefer dots, wearing glasses forces me to do crazy eye squinting. And when someone calls for help ... well, good luck finding him.
  3. I'd actually prefer to fight in A6M5 a Hellcat rather than Corsair. A lot closer in terms of performance than the latter one :pilotfly:
  4. I'm not sure whats so weird about 11 G pull in Spitfire ? I mean, wings fail as some posted above, sometimes they dont. But still, what is ultimate structural limit for Spitfire wing which would prove/disprove that this is realisitc/unrealisitic ? A6M Zero airframe has standard load limit of 7 G and ultimate load limit of 12.6 G with 1.8 safety factor. So what's so special about Spitfire being able to reach 11 G ? P-51 Galloping Ghost reached 16-17 G and wings remained intact (though elevator trim tab didnt, and neither did its pilot). If something is wrong with Spitfire, than surely there is evidence to prove that ?
  5. There will be more, don't worry. We don't plan to hide anything that can be shown to you guys.
  6. Very nice manouvering and flying MAD !
  7. There will be soon, Rudel is working tirelessly to upgrade the cockpit with which a change to canopy will arrive.
  8. For now lets focus on CE2 and later F4U-1d ;)
  9. I wish my cockpits looked like that back in the MS FS 2004 era: As for flight dynamics and flight model. I've reached to our tester and actual CE2 pilot to write a post, once we complete testing of the FM and make sure everything is as he experiences it, about his feelings and impressions of the FM. I know this is the single most important thing you guys are expressing your concerns, so we're doing everything possible to deliver best. And you will get comment on that from actual pilot.
  10. Yes, paintkit will be there too.
  11. Dear aviators, It is our utmost pleasure to announce that DCS: Christen Eagle II by Magnitude 3 LLC is now available for pre-purchase on the Eagle Dynamics E-store for 23.99 $. A full release of a feature-complete module is scheduled for January 23rd, 2019. The Christen Eagle II touches on many aspects not previously explored in DCS World. It aims to capture a unique flying experience of an aerobatic sporting biplane allowing all virtual aerobatic pilots to perform maneuvers previously not possible and reach for completely new possibilities in their displays during virtual airshows. It also is an easy to fly, easy to perform and control airframe with a constant-speed propeller, and fully inverted fuel and oil systems allowing the pilot to concentrate purely on the flight maneuvers, turning the aircraft control into child’s play and giving a chance to all new virtual pilots coming to DCS World to become aerobatic masters. We’re certain that the Christen Eagle II offers something to every virtual pilot, regardless if they are a veteran or a newcomer, combat pilot or an aerobatic artist! DCS: Christen Eagle II features: - Highly detailed and fully functional dual cockpit - Highly detailed external model with fully animated control surfaces and other systems - State-of the art internal and external textures - Exhaustive set of external liveries - Advanced flight model based on technical documentation and real Christen Eagle II pilot experiences - Complete aircraft system and subsystem modeling, which includes the Lycoming AEIO-360 engine, electrical, fuel and flight control systems - Fully functional KY-197 Radio - Authentic sound sets (canopy, cockpit items, engine) - A couple of instant missions and tutorials to get you started - Cooperative multiplayer – fly with a friend in the same aircraft, either as an instructor, student or a passenger - Complete aircraft flight manual Christen Eagle II is a product of our passion, dedication, hard work and love for aviation. It was created in cooperation with various artists, testers, content creators and most importantly actual Christen Eagle II pilots, providing invaluable inputs, in-flight recordings and comments to assure quality and accuracy of the product. See you in the skies! http://leatherneck-sim.com/dcs-christen-eagle-ii-now-available-for-pre-purchase/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/planes/christen_eagle/
  12. Verified and confirmed. I've forwarded it to guys.
  13. Yes, issue is known. Rudel is splitting textures now to improve performance. After that and cockpit revamp, we will look into liveries.
  14. Well. I hope to see one day Berlin Express in game :)
  15. I have 1080Ti and also experience this.
  16. Keep your finger crossed, there will be 109 G as Ai. Im sure eventually it will turn into a flyable bird. 109 G-6/AS would be amazing to have. And P-51B to pair it with.
  17. Solution is not to make things even less realistic, but attempt to make them more. 190 A-8, Mosquito, 109 G (Ai only for now) certainly help with that.
  18. Certainly, I will try. I only took screenshots during flight with FPS indicated. And yes, reconnecting to the server helps. I honestly dont know to what attribute this issue, but I can try to look into logs once that happens.
  19. Scared or not its even less realistic than K-4s presence over Normandy. There isnt any record of how many aircraft used it for all we know is that it was cleared around March 1945. But how many airfields had acess to C3 fuel for it, how many aircraft were serviceable and how many aircraft used it in combat ? No record. DCS stands for realism, lets keep it that way.
  20. As long as performance will be on par with PG, I think its going to be outstanding.
  21. Eeekz, Im finding some performance issues with the mission right after reset when sun is low. As its rising and lightining changes I have a major performance degradation. Its only this map I suffer this, performance drops from average 60-80 FPS to 20-30. So its a slideshow. I'm not sure if its lightning, if its some kind of bug but this performance drop was noticed by all my squadron members too. Another thing I'd like to report is that there is a certain group of users who have a nasty tendency to disconnect when loosing dogfight. User Amazing has done that tonight more times than I can count and thats not the only one. I'm not sure what they aim to achieve, but is there any possibility to introduce a penalty for something like this ?
  22. I have this issue with P-51 today, whole 6 hours of flying. But yes, also saw it on MiG-21. We will investigate, but it might be a general issue rather than specific with module.
  23. Yes, Ive already send message to Rudel yesterday. Weird that its only release thing.
  24. I hope nobody missed Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams 2018, but in case someone did, here is a link to demonstration of CE 2 in hands of a skilled pilot: Demonstration starts at 04:39:00
