    As far as I can see, the cockpit lighting is reversed, i.e. the UV light is displayed when the lamp should be emitting white light and vice versa.

    I just created a mission on Marianas WW2 and was able to land on the carrier without any problems.

    That may be true for an F4U-4 (not sure), but certainly not for an F4U-1D, which we have here in DCS.

There is a big difference between “the flight model is right” and “the flight model feels right” And you say it yourself, you're not a big fan of warbirds (even though you have them all), which means you're certainly approaching it with certain expectations from the outset, which is not a criticism, just an observation.
